I'm great! I had a crazy week. I missed so much work on Monday because I couldn't focus so I've been playing catch up.

I haven't painted my nails in probably 10 years. I do like the ideas you've pinned though. Makes me tempted to paint them. I would totally fail at it though. Other than the not being able to focus at work, how are you feeling otherwise? I tell you what, I feel like crap and you're just behind me! You're going to be a raspberry soon. YIPPY!!

I feel great. Only sore boobs. No morning sickness *knock on wood*. I went to the dr today for my official first appointment and she told me I won't have any u/s until 20 weeks. So bummed about that, but at least I got to get that u/s at 7 weeks. Maybe my dr will do more if I tell her I'm concerned about my fibroids.

20 WEEKS?! Oh no no no, that just won't do! Tell your doctor the forum girls would appreciate at least one in between there. Thanks doc! lol

I think that is normal Grace. I think the only reason I got one at 15 or what ever weeks was because I was new to my doctor and begged him. Otherwise I don't I would have gotten one until I was 20 weeks. I think it's an insurance thing more than a doctor thing.

I'm not sure if I will get an ultrasound at my next appointment at 12 weeks or not, but I know you do get to listen to the heartbeat every time.

Maybe if you bend your symptoms a little they will give you one?

BUT, you'll get your ultrasound AND you'll get to find out the sex of the baby at the same time. I remember when I had my ultrasound at 15 or whatever weeks. I was so amazed that there was this little person inside of me. he looked so real!! Then when I was in labor I still couldn't believe that this little person was in me and for some reason I was in denial and didn't believe it, then when I saw him I was so shocked, "THAT JUST CAME OUT OF MY GOOD GIRL!" It's the craziest feeling when you're pregnant for the first time. Especially when you first feel them move and oh and hiccups! Those are the best!!! I loved when Samuel got the hiccups. You're going to have so much fun hisgrace experiencing this. I'm so over the moon excited for you, even more that we're so close and we get to share it together!

Oh, I'll get to hear the heartbeat? Whew! I guess I'll be honest with my doctor then. LOL. I need some type of re-assurance. My next appointment is the 24th (our wedding anniversary). I'll only be 9 1/2 weeks by then. How soon can they hear the hb? I may have to buy a doppler if I don't hear the hb at that appointment. That's just too long.

Hi grace! hit will be hit or miss if they hear it or not. with my pregnancy this begining of the year i had an appt at 10 weeks they didnt even try because it can be hard to hear it before 12 weeks and they dont like to worry parents. i would have had an ultrasound at 12weeks for test that measure spinal fluid and what not its a test for downs its not that common of a scan only a few techs here in michigan are certified to do it, just happens one works at my dr office!

but i am sure you will be ok and i agree with janelle when the baby has hiccups its the best! with my daughter she had them almost everyday and she made my whole belly shake i even have it on video somewhere lol

nicole that sounds good!!! when does dh get home? and screw the fairness crap is it fair you gotta go the grow a WHOLE human being and he gets to play video games lol

No, they will measure your uterus and listen to the HB at every appointment. =] If they can't find the heartbeat then you will get an ultrasound. My cousin had her baby implant in the back of her uterus, so she always got an ultrasound because they couldn't hear it. She barely looked pregnant at 37 weeks and she's rail skinny. ((bitch)) They should be able to hear it. I know at 9 weeks they say you can hear it with a doppler.

He is on 24-hr duty again. He gets home at 9 tomorrow morning. Hoping for a lazy day toimorrow since I am getting waving of morning sickness and headaches every 2 hours today.

Anyone else having a hard time falling asleep? It usually takes me at max 1t5 minutes but since 4 weeks hit it takes me almost 45 minutes to fall asleep because of gas and nausea. Not to mention Dh has been talking in his sleep and waking me up every night and then I wake up after sleeping for 5 hours in order to pee and cant fall back asleep due to gas.

Janelle i got extra fluff so it is harder and i have csection scars. with my dr unless there was a reason to think there was something wrong they waited to do the doppler. but when i went in at 11 weeks with spotting they did the doppler and couldnt find a heartbeat so then they did the u/s and found the blighted ovum...but if i get pregnant again no worries for me they will do lots of u/s lol....my old ob that i had before (she moved to organ) they would do an u/s if they couldnt hear a heartbeat so i think it just depends on the ob...i like the ones who do the u/s better to!

Misty i say i want another baby and basically will force him if i have to...yeah we will have our own place by sometime in the spring that is our time line for ourselves.

SPEAKING of dopplers, guess what arrived today?!?!?! YAAAAAAY!!!!!!! It had been saying expected delivery tomorrow but I just tracked it and it said out for delivery today so I texted Jake and he said yep, it came today. Excited!! But I have even MORE extra fluff than Munchkin Krissy sooooo I may have a hard time finding the heartbeat...

It started about 2 days after my 2nd positive test. So that means I've had morning sickness for just over 2 weeks now.
