You have me on your list but not updated. I got my BFP in September, 3 days before my acupuncture started though.

I am seeing the acupuncturist for recurrent pregnancy loss, so far so good, i had a 7w scan on monday and there was a heartbeat, baby measured 6w5d! Cant say if its the acupuncture that is helping solely because i am also on other meds this pregnancy but this is the furtherst i have got

I am new to this but was reading your post and wanted to comment.
I have been ttc for 3 years. In january we started having accupuncture around 3 times a month and by March I feel pregnant unfortunatley it was ectopic and I got rushed to hospital april 26th and had my right tube removed. They told me it shouldnt effect my fertility by having one tube.

Two weeks ago I started having accupunture again so fingers crossed we get that

YAY!! YES you should of updated that is GREAT NEWS even tho you got it before accupuncture it can still help with miscarrying if you go for treatments during your pregnancy!! CONGRATS!!!

Hi ladies! Thought I'd jump in here with my story!

I've been going to see a Chinese medicine practitioner since just before my last cycle began. This lady is a specialist in fertility & women's health. She has a fantastic success rate & helped my friend get her BFP after 5 years trying, clomid & 1 failed IVF. That friend now has 2 kids!

So I decided I'd go see her as I'm 37 almost 38. I haven't had any testing & neither has my OH. We are getting tests done this cycle though just incase.

I'm in my 2nd month of taking herbal pills & herbal tea, & I'm having weekly acupuncture also. Tomoro I'm up to number 3.

So far I already see & feel differences... My AF was better, ie it was bright red, fresh looking, barely any clotting (TMI!), & lasted for 5 days. Usually it has been disappearing for a day or two in the middle. My PMS symptoms were almost non existent this month also- which was great. I got a positive OPK yesterday & had LOTS of EWCM about 1 & 2 days before. But I've also been drinking loads of grapefruit juice too so that's maybe worked for the CM.

Just hoping all of these things help me get my BFP soon!

YAY!! hello there so happy you wrote because I noticed the same thing about my AF after a few accu appts. Brighter color and so on!! and i am on CD8 and i spotted still my period is now over and that is the LONGEST ever and healthiest ever!! Welcome and we hope to see a BFP from you sooon!!

AFM, my acupuncturist told me to come back during my TWW and I finally O'd so I am going to see her sometime next week. I get sooo stressed during the TWW so I hope it helps!

So I had my 3rd acupuncture session yesterday. I had it on the back of my body this time. I think maybe bcos I had just ovulated?? I also had cupping done, which was bcos I have hay fever & a sore throat from mouth breathing in my sleep thanks to the hay fever. The cupping apparently was to help my body not have to be working too hard on the hay fever issues so all the energy can be focused on fertility stuff.

One of the cupping sites turned quite dark purplish and the lady said 'ooh, not good, turn black in this spot ... Oh Well better to find it & do something about it' ..... Which kind of freaked me out a bit!! But I'll talk to her about it more next week.

Well I think I and 2dpo but ff seems to think that I am 3dpo. I will see over the next few days I may overide it.
I always have cupping in my accu sessions for me it helps with circulation. Loving my weekly sessions and hoping for my bfp

I went for my 4th session yesterday and she did some points on my back also.i usually jump for the needles in my stomach area but yesterday it actually felt good! Staying hopeful that acupuncture helps!

i had my 3rd session today and was quite excited for it! i am cca 5dpo, so she focused on my uterus health and implantation. i feel the needles in my stomach the least though... maybe coz i got some cushion there?
other than that, if nothing else, i just feel complete inner peace for a day or two after each session, like all the tension leaves my body, especially stomach. i would love to go each saturday, but it's costly.

Cupping is when they use small cups like a suction usually on my lower back. They use heat to create a sucking effect so cups stick to your back. Can be used to draw out Nrg and circulation.

ladies can anyone recommend a good fertility acupuncturist in London? I had some very unfortunate experience with Chinese doctors and a bit put off the whole idea. but looking at how many ladies succeed with acupuncture willing to give it another try if I can find a reliable specialist.

Hey ladies, hope everyone is doing well? I'm back to see the fertility specialist on Wednesday no luck with the clomid for me have decided to take a few weeks off the acupuncture until I know what the next step is!

Just started acupuncture last week. Tomorrow will be my 2nd appointment.
We're ttc for almost 2.5 years with no BFP ever. We're both fine so of course the FS marked us as "unexplained". I gave up on doctors (i.e. Fertility Specialists- they are only interested in money so that's why they're pushing IVF), so Chinese medicine is my next hope.
The acupuncturist put needles on my tummy, legs and right thumb. I did not feel any pocking on my belly and he said that's not good, I was suppose to feel something. As I understood the circulation is cut off that's why I have less sensation there. Also he said I have kidney yang deficiency. The kidneys nourish the uterus and ovaries, that's why now I guess he's trying to bring more blood to that area.
Also he pinpointed a problem- my follicles never reached 2cm before ovulation (something the FS was not concerned, but apparently has an impact on the conceiving).
Also, he said go easy on prenatal vitamins (I also gave up on them due to high iron level in them- excessive iron causes a lot of inflammations in the body), but he supports the CoQ10 and Omega.
And the last thing- he and the acupuncture made me so relaxed and brought back the joy of making love.

The accupunturist I see is a zita west affiliate I'm in the midlands and she's great! Do you know anything about Zita West? I'd highly recommend her book.

thank you! I have read two of her books and just checked the website and apparently her clinic is 10 min walk from where i live the only problem is that at 110 pounds a session it is a little bit pricier than i thought.

I had a warm lamp once with a Chinese doctor it was quite nice, she also gave me moxa box with some sticks to use at home but I never used them because she did not really explain when and how I am supposed to do that
