Hi girls.

Well I am in a quandry. On Sunday, 13DPO I did a pregnancy test. I swear I could see a faint line. Showed OH who said he could see it, then he couldnt, then he could, then he couldn't :hissy: Anyway this was on a Tesco own brand test so went on a hunt for a FRER. It was Sunday night so couldn't find anywhere open. Went back to Tesco and bought 2 more cheapies. Did one there and then and :bfn:. Kept the other one for in the morning (Monday). Got up yesterday and POAS and then wiped - there was pink tinge of blood so assumed :witch: had arrived. But when I looked at the test I'm sure I could still see lines. Threw the test in the bin as didn't want to think to much about it in case of possible mc and classed yesterday as CD1.

Anyway, for the rest of yesterday kept checking and wasn't really bleeding, just slight tinges of red/brown stains. Assumed :witch: would turn up with a vengeance last night but again not so. All day all I've had is really watery brown coloures mucus (TMI, sorry) which is really unusual for me. Usually :witch: arrives with a vengeance on CD1.

So. I'm meant to be on round 3 of Clomid this month - would you start them today and class today as CD2 (as I'm meant to take them from CD2-6) or wait a few days and see if :witch: turns up properly and class from then as CD1/2? Really not sure what to do. Also, because the Clomid hasn't worked, I booked CD21 blood tests for the 29 June (3 weeks from yesterday) as my doctor told me. Now I'm unsure whether to change this date or not.

Please does anyone have any advice? Thanks.

You shouldn't take the clomid as it doesn't sound like you have started a new cycle yet, I was told to count CD1 from 1st day of full flow. Have you been told if you test positive to call your fertility unit and advise them? If you're still not sure it might be worth giving them a call to discuss as it doesn't sound to me that you can completely rule out the possibility that you may be pregnant. Good luck hun got my fingers crossed for you

Hi ClaireLR, I'm on Clomid and my cycles have gone from being irregular before I started the treatment, to 30 days, first two cycles of clomid, to the last one being 28 days thanks to Acupuncture. But one thing I noticed about my periods since taking this is that I start to spot a couple of days before I'm due on, so I tend to wait until AF has definitely arrived and its the normal heavier bleed and count that as day 1, you can also take Clomid starting on day 3 if you're unsure, or even on day 5, my first cycle was taken on day 5. But you need to be sure you're not pregnant before taking the clomid. I would wait a couple more days and see if AF turns up, you should have a pattern by now of your cycle length so if you're late by a few days, take another test, sometimes the HCG hormone takes a while to increase enough to show clearly on a pregnancy test. Hope that helps!
