AF on 20th - Anyone else?

Ah no, sounds like a right nightmare!! Just pack the essentials I say.

I feel really rubbish today, just really blah and sick :( But still no spotting, i expect to start spotting tomorrow (AF due Friday) as I totally feel like im out this month - but im not out yet! :)

This is the last wedding of the year, I have been to ALOT! So yeah, definitely looking forward to autumn coming and spending some cosy nights in! :hugs:

That blimmin witch b*tch has got me again, damn her!

Well I suspect she'll be here today - bit of spotting this morning and feel blah.

Doctor is booked for Monday and on the upside its my birthday later this month, we are off to Spain for 4 nights so atleast I can have a few birthday bubbles!

Hope all you ladies are doing well and enjoying the pregnant life! xx

Are you serious? Damn her! Like I said maybe the summer is just meant for you to have fun and come the colder months, that's when it will be your turn.

I'm sure you will have an awesome time on your birthday! Have a few drinks for all of us as well!

Well I am partial to the odd drink Pne!! ;)
And yes you're right... I've had a full summer of fun now I can ease up on the socialising a bit and relax a bit more.
She's in full swing today (weird I didn't get any spotting as I always do!) and has come a day early which is perfect as has pushed my fertile days forward - which is a bonus as I was going to be away at another wedding in the last day or so... Now looks like I can get all the baby making out the way first - every cloud and all that!! 😊❤️😊

At least your cycle is cooperating with your planned events. And drink that grapefruit juice. I didn't notice a lot of cm coming out but it might have thinned out what I had inside to help my husband's little swimmers make their way through. Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned this but the one night right after dtd, we both dozed off with him still connected to me. And it's a very good possibility that might have been the night we conceived. Haha!

I love being able to tell you ladies stories like these! ;)

Haha I do remember you telling me that, brilliant!! Maybe i should suggest that, ha. That bloke can sleep anywhere - he's lucky. I struggle to sleep at the best of times.

Grapefruit juice, im on it! Shall I start drinking it now you think? Or after AF goes?

Thanks for the tips, I really do appreciate them xx

Haha I am the same way! I have such a hard time sleeping anywhere except in our bed. I wish I as one of those that could sleep anywhere during anything, but I can't.

No problem. I always liked hearing what other women tried. I figured it won't hurt anything. And you can start drinking it now. I preferred the Simply Grapefruit, not sure if that one is available to you.

HI LADIES!

I've been awol again because it's been Casper's birthday this week so I've been busy scurrying about getting presents sorted etc, my current struggle is trying to find my eldest two some school shoes in their size!! Apparently they are all sold out everywhere, stress! Ella goes back on Monday, Toby starts on Thursday... Eeeeep.

So sorry to hear you are still unfertilised London! :[ Well done for staying positive, your time will come!

I had an early scan today at 8 weeks (I know when I ovulated so def 8 weeks) but scan measured 8+2 little bean with a heartbeat <3 Makes all the nausea worth it! I'm tired and emotional and headachey, all par for the course I know!

Not got much time to chat at the moment but will definitely for sure catch up next week :]

Baby dust London! Xx

Wow Sticky, im always so impressed with how incredibly busy you are and you just get on with it, so many kids to fuss over and sort out yet you manage to do everything - you're one amazing woman!

Delighted to hear that all is well with your little 8 +2 bean! :flower:
Will you find out what you're having or keep it as a surprise? What about you Pne/Rose - finding out what sex bubs is?

So we had the Doctor appointment today for the sperm analysis.
There is nothing overly concerning, but then its not like all his sperm is massively active either. He said that it was basically borderline, normal - his sample was pretty small, they like around 2ml and he only had 1.3ml so that probably had an effect. Apparently the active sperms he does have are quite fast swimmers but they are quite concentrated, so yeah... good and not so good points. But nothing we should be panicking or worrying about seemingly.

I have an appointment at my GP this Friday (Quite annoying having separate ones) where i'll take the sperm results and then they will send my details for a referral at a fertility clinic. The Doctor said they would probably fast track it slightly as i'll be 36 later this month. So all in all, if it doesnt happen naturally I guess it will happen some other way in the forseeable future :) Just staying positive and enjoying life in the meantime!

And you ladies totally help, you're an inspiration! xx

PS. AF is gone, woo! CD5 for me so its back to it again, ha!

Sticky, why do they start 2 different days? And how did Ella's first couple of days go? That's great to hear good news on the early scan. It sure does make all the aches and sickness worth it! I found a lemon ginger tea that works wonders!

London, yes we will probably find out with this one. We didn't with our son and my husband wanted to so I figured we can go a different route this time.

And that's good to hear about the results. I'm sure that eases your mind and especially his! It's always nice to have a short period but at the same time, it feels like forever waiting to ovulate. Although when I ovulated early, it was so nice because it meant a short cycle also. But that 15-17 day luteal phase still seemed to take forever!

Im so impatient i think id need to know what sex the baby was... although i guess its the only real surprise you get in life - but yeah... I think I wouldnt be able to help myself, i'd want to know! :)

CD8... that fertile period is near!

Doctor tomorrow. So i'm taking the sperm analysis results to my doctor to hopefully get a referral or talk about next steps. Happy things will be moving forward and we can just keep trying in the meantime! Staying positive!!

Yea we will find out this time, I'm sure. My mother in law's birthday is October 20th and my husband's is the 26th and we will find out the 18th so it would be neat to have them put it in an envelope and either one of them can open it.

London, how did your appointment go?

Sticky and Rose, how are you ladies doing?

Hey Ladies,
Hope you had a nice weekend x

Oh that would be a lovely surprise Pne! A nice way to find out the sex.

So I went to my Doctor on Friday afternoon, he looked over the sperm analysis for us, always good to get a 2nd opinion - he said its all very normal, nothing to be concerned about. All my blood tests came back fine, i'm producing the right hormones and everything seems to be 'text book' ok.... so he's referring me to a gynecologist to get a couple of scans/tests done to make sure everything is ok down there and there are no blockages in my tubes etc. He said in the meantime just keep trying - which is what i'll do! :)

CD12 for me today, need to get some BD'ing in this week as i'm going to Denmark (Copenhagen) on Saturday for... another wedding!

How are you other ladies? x

Good morning! That's good news, London! So don't you ladies see a gynecologist regularly in the UK? And at least your fertile period is definitely before you leave so you can go and have fun without stressing about it!

It certainly wouldnt be the norm to visit one regularly.
For me I hardly ever even go to the Doctor... after growing up in NZ where it costs a fortune i think its drummed in my head to only go when im border line dying haha.
In the UK its free of charge to go to the Doctor, but it is a bit of a pain trying to get an appointment as its always so busy - probably because its free so people go with a stubbed toe or a cough!
But on the other hand, it is brilliant because for those that really are sick and cant afford to pay - its a free service.
I actually work in the National Health Service (NHS) as a Finance Manager so I know all the ins and outs about health finance, its certainly not cheap so its brilliant that we have this service available to us :)

Oh wow. That is nice for people that really need the care!
Our health insurance is so high over here unless you are relying on the system, or you work somewhere like a hospital that has excellent insurance. Plus it costs a fortune to even go to the doctor with insurance. It doesn't make much sense to really even have it, but if you don't have it, you pay a penalty come tax season! :(

Yeah i've heard that about America, crazy!
How are you feeling Pne?

CD14 for me, Got a +ve opk today so should be ovulating in the next 24 hours then its back to my great little friend the TWW! :coffee:

Good morning! I am feeling really well! I have a slight cold but it is already getting better so no complaints for me! I just can't wait for this babe to move around for reassurance that he/she is thriving in there!

Yea! At least you don't have to worry about not ovulating or when it happens. You're usually right on schedule! When do you leave for the wedding?

Hope that cold buggers off soon Pne and baby starts to move so you can feel him/her saying hello!

Officially in the TWW!
Off to Denmark first thing tomorrow for the wedding celebrations, then next week we are in Spain for 4nights so lots on my mind to make the TWW fly by!

I do too. I can't remember when I first started noticing our son moving.

Good for you London. I hope you guys enjoy yourself! It's probably nice to keep busy!
