Well, here goes... after our last attempt to give Rowan a Little-Brother-Or-Sister failed last February when the baby proved to be dead at the dating scan, we're rolling the dice one last time. Had my coil out on Tuesday, which wasn't what you'd call a joyous experience (though I managed to combine it with having a cervical smear, which did at least minimise the amount of having cold, hard objects stuck where the sun doesn't shine that I had to undergo). Since I shall be 46 in June, this is definitely going to be the last attempt, whatever happens (though the nurse did say that I had good pelvic floor muscles, which is cheering). I've come here rather than to TTC Over 35 because I can't understand all the science and abbreviations that are being chucked around over there!
