Am I in with a chance?

Hi ladies!

I have 4 LO's, littlest one is still BF so my cycles (& my LP) are a little irregular, AF is/was due anytime from yesterday through to this Sat.

Anyway, we were NTNP (although as of this week we've decided to actually start TTC ) so I'm just thinking out loud, but would love your opinions please.

If I had ov' cramping on a Saturday evening along with EWCM on the Saturday, but didn't DTD until the Monday night - would I be in with a chance of catching the eggy? I'm all out of practise when it comes to the signs, symptoms, do's & don't of TTC!

After ovulation takes place there is only a short window chance at conception12-24 hours. But It could be very possible because O symptoms can start 5 days before O. I guess its cm rule to DTD when the most fertile mucus is present.

Do: DTD everyday or every other day in the days leading up to ovulation and on O day.
Don't wait til O day , have those swimmers waiting for that egg to be released.
I've also heard that a woman is extremely fertile just after giving birth.
