It's so embarrassing when I see people equate socialism with every person having access to at least basic medical care.

And I can't believe how incredibly selfish someone can be that they'd deny another person the right to live simply because they don't have enough money. It's not just lazy, purposely unemployed people who don't have insurance, plenty of employed people are uninsured as well. The same applies to many college students. And even if you are lazy and don't want to work? I'm still not comfortable with letting you die because of some unfortunate personality traits and lack of ambition. And more importantly, I'd rather see my money go towards saving someone's grandfather or daughter or brother than funding some ridiculous wars

I'm a little surprised with how many people who have pre-existing conditions are voting Romney. With "Obamacare", everyone is entitled to the best heath care possible and can't be denied from insurance companies if they have pre-existing conditions. With Romney, insurance companies can cap you AND deny you because of a pre-existing condition. They can also charge you ridiculous amounts more than someone without a pre-existing condition.

I agree - I mean is it that hard to have a basic grasp on what socialism is if you are going to continuously accuse the president of being a socialist? How is America even close to being anything but a capitalist country?!

And I am still in shock that someone on here thinks that poor families don't deserve to be provided basic electricity. I'm sure mitt Romney probably agrees though.

Probably not many, but i really dont understand whenever i meet americans when i travel anywhere in the world they always say when asked where they are from "oh im from (insert US city or state)" like we all know where it is or even what country its in. Off topic i know sorry haha just irratates me. Im canadian and i do know where all the states are

I think people should make an educated vote unfortunatly some people dont. Im sure on the flip side there will be people voting for obama because hes NOT white.

The scary thing is a lot of them probably don't want to move forward - you get a lot of people in the uk talking about 'the good old days' like the 1950s were the beacon of morality and innocence, seemingly okay with all the sexism, racism and inequality back then!

Mitt Romney just seems totally incompetent and out of touch, I don't even understand how he got this far. Plus on top of everything else, there is his incredibly shady tax history.
