Anterior Placenta

Me too! I thought I would have to wait longer (and I did comparatively to my other babies), but I started feeling small flutters and wriggles around 16 weeks, and now at 18 I get a reasonable amount of kicks and rolls. Mostly it's at night after dinner, but in the last few days it's been noticeable in the day time when I'm sitting or laying down. I have a big blind spot on my right side between my belly button and level with my hip bone which must be where the placenta is - I feel movement everywhere else, but nothing there. Sometimes it's hard as a rock there too which I'm thinking is the baby's back. My son in my last pregnancy was constantly laying with his back out and that's what it felt like.

You will start to feel stuff pretty soon and you'll love it! It's amazing! :)

thats what i had didnt feel proper movements till 23 weeks

They told me I had this at a scan last week, but i had been feeling flutters before hand and last night I felt what were kicks, no mistaking...can it move so fast?
My friend also has one and she didnt feel her baby move until she was 27 weeks...x

Wow such a big difference between people! Hopefully I won't have to wait much longer.

Thanks for the responses ladies!!!

I had been feeling little flutters since 16 weeks but they weren't getting much stronger. At my scan last week I found out my placenta is anterior so I think that's why that was.

On saturday night I felt baby moving around all over the place and all of a sudden I got a really strong kick out my side - I felt it from outside too! After that baby moved again and I'm back to just flutters and slight taps. I guess it's back in behind the placenta. I'm 21 weeks now.

I think my baby is generally lazy though aswell, it didn't budge at my 12 or 20 week scans!

It is a blessing I promise. I had one and I was never kept up at night like so many of my friends with movements. I stil felt him around 20 weeks very consistently and had felt him several times before that.

I have one this time around. First time for me. I've been feeling baby wiggle & flutter since 11 weeks. But, now at 22 weeks all the movement is down low, any kicks in the centre or up high I don't feel. I'm definitely feeling movement daily now which is lovely.
