antibiotics (eye ointment a little out of date )??

I had a scratch on my eye and had antibiotics about 6/7 weeks ago, but now its playing up. The cream said to discard 28 days after opening...Do you think it will be ok?

Ooh, no i wouldn't. It won't be anywhere near as effective if it's out of date and could harm your eye.

nope, if its been open for more than 28 days do not use. its because bacteria grows in it and it becomes more harmful than good x
