Any Other December Babies?

Congrats to all the December mamas to be! I got my BFP yesterday morning and I'm due December 6th. It all feels unreal still! :happydance:

Congrats, Tess, Happymini and Mud Mom! :flower:

Anyone else getting nausea yet? It's not too bad for me and only comes and goes but the fact I'm getting any at all already makes me nervous. I've never gotten it too bad before but it never came before 6 weeks. I'm such a wuss when it comes to nausea as I have a legitimate barfing phobia.

I get a little, but my biggest problem is gas! Omg I can clear the house out! Xx

LOL Happymimi81 !! Me too on that one! No nausea yet, but I'm sure its on it's way!!

The only this I'm really noticing, other than the gas, is a heavy uterus, and the odd twinge and pinch. Its pretty neat actually, feels so different than the awful witch I was expecting!! :D

I find the twinges comforting, like you say its different. Im dreading tuesday as thats period day, just trying not to think about it xxx

Well, I just got my BFP today after TTaL for about 5 months. It's still early days but I should be due around December 8th based off my ovulation signs and when I got my positive pregnancy test. I've looked around but can't seem to find any December threads. Not really looking to start one officially but wondering where the other December babies are. Surely there are more of us out there?

Anyways, I've decided to be positive this time around. It's the only way I'm going to survive the first tri as I'm not getting any special treatment and won't even see my doctor until 12 weeks.

Hi Starry Night

If im right with my dates then I should be due 7th December :happydance:

Heres to a H&H 9 Months

:hugs::hugs:

me, i have felt sick since a few days after i conceived. its in the back of my throat, not like a stomach sick feeling. i had real bad morning sickness with my first and always remember going shopping with my aunty and having to run off and puke down a side street lol. i dont feel like im going to be sick and im constantly hungry and also alot of gas *blush*

Ah, yes. The gas. I was telling my mom on the phone today that pregnancy is actually quite gross. LOL I'm not expecting to have any of that 'glow' around me.

It seems my mom has told the extended clan I'm expecting (though I told her to only tell immediate family....mothers...ha ha) and my aunt who is a doctor thinks I should be referred to a specialist because of my history. I was hoping to ignore everything and just see my doctor at 12 weeks like usual but now I'm going to see him right away and hopes he refers me. After my m/c he said he wanted to refer me to a specialist once I got pregnant again. I find doctors usually forget things like this and don't follow through when you remind them but I think it might be nice to have a specialist look after me and not just my gp (here GPs look after you until about 30 weeks and then you see an OBYN).

im hoping i will get an early scan having been through losses before, but one can only hope!! where are you?

ETA Starry Night abnd Queenbee, good luck to you both. The first weeks can be nerve wracking!

No nausea for me yet. Didn't have any with #1 so I'm hoping to be lucky this time too. The main thing for me is twinges and aching in the uterus area. Its a little uncomfortable but as others have said, I like it because its different and reasuring.

I should be referred for an early scan because of a previous ectopic. Normally around 6.5 weeks. Am hoping the time goes quickly.

Hi ladies,
I'd love to join all of you. I got my bfp yesterday with an expected due date of December 4th. I haven't been on the forums much but would love to have a group to share with.

mlyn - wow, it looks like you're going to have your little ones close in age! I've always liked the idea of kids being close in age. It didn't work out that way for me though I guess 2 1/2 years is still somewhat close...

queenbee - I'm in Canada and in a very rural area. There isn't as much available here. But I will try to remind the doctor of what he said after my m/c. Even if I don't need to see a specialist this time around it could be very reassuring.

Starry- I'm back! Preggo again too! EDD is Dec 2!

Wasn't quite expecting to be here for another 6 months at least but ... Surprise! BFP last week and it still feels very unreal! Uncertain about exact dates (was experiencing irregularity after coming off the pill in December) but we think we are due the first week in December! Seemed to have had more symptoms before I found out (slight nausea, fatigue, etc) but all seemed to have disappeared since, which is a little unnerving! We have a rec for an early scan to get our dates more precise. Hoping we can get in this week!

Happy and Healthy 9 months to you beautiful ladies!

Starry Night, we took 3 years to conceive my son with 2 losses and I now have only one tube due to the ectopic pregnancy. So we didn't want to hang around and thought it would take us ages again. Conceived on our second cycle of trying. Small age gap will be tough I think but well worth it. Yours is small too in my opinion. Hopefully our children will grow up being v close as there is a 9 year and 5 year ag gap between me and my brother and sister and I wanted a closer one for Isaac.Fingers crossed wll our bubbas stick and grow big and strong x

We need a December group in group section.
