hey was wondering if there were any other mum's out there or people TTC who suffer with Hypermobility Syndrome (HMS)???

i am currently under care for only HMS specialist in scotland he is alright but not seen him much, atm getting physiotherapy and always drugged up... but because of the pains find it hard to walk and such, having a toddler can be extremely hard and painfull but i love my son sooo much,

apparently our specialist said the condition could be linked with infertility which i was surprised to hear but never seen anything about it tbh...

anyways would love to talk with other people who have to live with this condition.

Hello, I've just seen this. I was told I had Hypermobility as a teenager. I haven't heard it being linked to infertility but did hear its linked to prem labour, don't know if its true though. No one really seems to know much about it.
I had pretty bad SPD in my pregnancy...wonder if its related at all?!

You sound like you have it pretty bad  I do get pain almost every day but I wont take meds for it, I kind of grin and bare it

aw sorry to hear your in same boat i wouldn't walk in later part of my pregnancy with my son. i have heard from my specialist that apparently people with HMS is meant to be more likely to have fertility problems.... i don't know the ins and outs of it, have had it all my life but only recently got dignosed :(
