Anyone else have long cycles, and want to join me on the long wait for O?

Seems like my body keeps trying to but then gives up
Maybe this will be another 70 day cycle...

have you checked with a doctor? I used to be like that, and my case was PCOS! it can be treated, and cycles become shorter

I saw a specialist and he didnt think I had pcos. I flat out asked him too. They did an ultrasound on my ovaries and the left side is beautiful and right has had a small cyst for a while now. Probably from always Oing from right side. Left side for some reason is hoarding its eggs
I'm going to try soy isoflavones again next cycle and up the amount and see if that helps.

I've had two normal (32 and 38) cycles but now I don't seem to be doing anything. I've started temping this cycle but nothing is showing at the moment, been using opks that started to get darker and now nothing no line at all so don't think I've ovulated. Think this cycle is going to be another long one for me too.

I am getting hormonal symptoms such as light headed, upset stomach and sore boobs (maybe due to walking into a door) which all usually indicate ovulation is near but opks say it's not ???

Tallmom2b have you changed your diet? No sugar etc how are you finding it?

thats a good idea! If I dont conceive by this cycle, I will try too!!

Hi Jelly I hope you O soon! It sounds like I'm in the same boat as you this cycle. My OPKs were getting darker and then they got lighter. My temps haven't gone up and no O symptoms so pretty sure I didn't miss my surge or anything. But if you are having O symptoms, maybe you just missed your surge? I'd make a note of what day you had that dark OPK, jic you did O around that day.

Well I've got it completely wrong I was hormonal but because AF arrived on cd26 !??!

It's really bizarre after having 90+ 60+ and 50+ cycles they are getting shorter but also alot heavier. I think as I started temping around cd 14 and using OPKs Im likely to of ovulated before this if I did 'O'. Now I can start recording properly this cycle but will need to start opks earlier incase it's another short cycle. I'm going to be constantly poas.

I was doing good with the sugar but I've kinda fallen off the wagon this past week.
But I was doing really good with cutting out sugary junk food. I was still drinking 100% fruit juice though. Especially grapefruit juice

Giving up sugars is really tough. I know I felt better when I cut it out but food was very dull !

Yesterday was CD 37, and I got a result on an opk, very slight. Then 4 hours later blank. And was at the gyno earlier that day and he said I was in the process of ovulation.

I've managed to continue temping properly this month no sign of 'o' yet but it's still early days cd10.

Skp - that's sounds promising hope 'o' happens soon for you

Now since I am having a hsg, no more sex for a month

Its when they put dye inside you and it goes through your tubes and they say it can clear it up or it can show blockages.

I am pretty much out for conceiving for the month of Nov. But since ovulation happened a few days ago, who knows something might happen. Then I dont need to botehr with testing for now.

So I have a tww now, hmm we shall see.

I think I might of O'd finally, need a couple more days of high temps to confirm though! Trying not to get my hopes up but I think it's too late!

Doc said I was in the process of ovulation, tested with a opk and it had a result, not as strong, online predictors estimated ovulation for Oct 7th, and my slight result was on the 5th, and that was even my guess.

I had pains, sometimes on my right, some on left. I believe im still in the 2www, I had 3 spots on 3 different days up until now. But it doesnt really indicate af coming which should be by next week. I skipped my Sept one
