Anyone else in the 4-5 week range?

Hi I got my bfp over the weekend and I'm somewhere round 4 weeks ish now.

Just got my beta results back today;
14dpo 185
16dpo 396

Don't have anything on pg sorry dini! But the fact yours are going up and they are monitoring you is great signs so they can help you pass the first hurdle! GL for scan next week!!xx

Welcome to everyone and congrats!

Caressa, how did your blood work go today? X

Hello ladies! I got my BFP yesterday and am 4w0d today! Still not really sinking in but this is my first so I have no clue how this will go. I'm glad I'm not the only one constantly checking every time I go to the bathroom. I would like to think that will get better (the paranoia) but I get the feeling it won't. :nope:

But congrats to all you ladies on your BFP's!! It's nice to have other people around where I am since I can't really tell anyone yet.

So when I scheduled my OB appointments today, they're not until 9/10 for blood work and then 9/25 for my first US. Is that a long time? Or are they just waiting because it's my first? I really kind of want to know my Hcg levels...

Congrats to you all ladies.....it is relaxing to read that we all so similar, am not sure how far along I am as different specialists have different opinions...all I am sure of is that my LMP was 20th July...that dates me to about 4w...d..

Does anyone know if there is any post for April 2015 babies? Or should we plan to hold on to this post and track as we go along?

Dini, your progesterone at 22dpo looks awesome though!! I don’t think you should worry too much about it. We do have similar stories. Congrats on your BFP!

July28th, I was in and out in about 10 minutes, it went good, but the nurse won’t call me until tomorrow morning… fingers and toes all crossed. I will definitely let you know!

Congratulations, Marthea007! 1st OB appointments are normally scheduled between 6-8 weeks. The only reason I am having blood work is because I have a history of early miscarriage and we were TTC for over 4 years. It never does hurt to ask though, if they would run your blood work for HCG!

Kendi there is a much more active April thread than the one I saw you on in the discussions area, here is the link https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/pregnancy-groups/2210905-april-bunnies-2015-a-109.html please feel free to join! It is so hard to keep up with everyone!!

Anyone else is welcome to come on over as well.

Texas, I'm actually not super worried about the progesterone anymore but just want to make sure it stays where it should. They wanted it above 20 so 40 is wonderful! I have more labs in the morning and should know by the late afternoon.

Marthea - Texas is right, most first OB appts aren't until 6-8 weeks, even 10 sometimes. Mine is technically at 8wks from my LMP but with my low progesterone history and our LTTTC history I was seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist (Fertility Specialist) and my OB actually wouldn't see me or even order labs for me so I went to my family doc when I got my BFP and got my HCG and Progesterone drawn. When the PG came back low I called the RE because my OB wouldn't help me as I haven't been there in 2 years. My RE is now following my labs and they prescribed my progesterone supplements. When I see my OB on the 26th I am praying for a scan because of my history but if they don't do it my RE said they will but I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance doesn't cover care at that hospital because I work for the rival hospital network...so stupid!!

Hi ladies! :hi:

Today I'm 4 weeks 2 days. I found out today and I can't believe it still. We've been trying for #1 for over 2 years and even went to a fertility specialist. We had all the tests done and were ready to start IUI the next cycle.
I still can't believe it!

Having a little bit of cramping, like mild period cramping. Boobs are tender lol and I haven't been interested in greasy foods. I think about a big greasy burger but then my stomach says "no way!" But I'm not nauseous.

When are y'all planning on telling family/friends?
DH and I have decided to wait until at least our first OB appointment at 7 weeks. We both want to shout the news but we also don't want to have to go back and tell everyone if we miscarry.

Hi all! I'm just 4 wks today, I got an early bfp at 10 dpo. MrsA85 I'm just like you, way more nervous than with baby 1 because my cousin lost her baby at 7 months :(. With my son we told everyone when I was only 6 weeks, we'll certainly wait longer this time!

Besides cramping and a little fatigue no real symptoms yet. Just trying to exercise more to combat the sore back and breathlessness that is to come!

Hi Girls!!. Congrats to you all on your BFP!! :) it's so exciting :)
I'm about 4 weeks 1 day. This is my 3rd baby. Since my BFP I've been feeling sick on and off already!!........ Didn't have it so early with my other 2. I've got sore boobies and had a bit of cramping.
Good luck to us all and here's to a happy & healthy 9 months :)

Hi Ladies!!

I got my 17dpo beta results just a bit ago....

15dpo - 115
17dpo - 300!!!!!!!

I feel like this is actually happening now! :happydance:

That's awesome Texas!! Do you have more scheduled?

I am waiting on my results from this morning. Should have them sometime this afternoon. If these are good I've decided I'm going to relax a little more and enjoy my camping trip this weekend!!

Thanks for the reassurance Texas and Dini. I know I should calm down about everything but I can't help it! Honestly, my first appt is in 2 1/2 weeks and I'll get bloodwork done then, and I'm sure that time will pass pretty quickly.

Also, hooray for the awesome levels Texas!! That's great!!

Dini - fingers crossed for good lab results!!

Peanutt - DH and I will tell after 12 weeks I think. We're already planning a trip down to Florida to see his family to let them know in person because it will be their first grandchild. I may just facetime my mom to let her know (she lives in PA and this will be her 10th!) but it's hard to take time off from work for two separate trips. :( Definitely will wait though as both my mom and sister have had miscarriages in the past so I don't want to rush anything.

Thanks girls!!

Dini, she said they feel confident enough that we will wait until next Wednesday for another blood draw. They are going to make sure it is at least 1500-2000 and then schedule a sono. I feel like I can definitely relax a bit more now. Fingers crossed for your results… let us know! Camping sounds fun, is it a lot cooler in Ohio? It’s right around 100 degrees everyday when I leave work in the afternoon now.

Marthea, it’s so hard to calm down and relax about everything, I hope these next 2.5 weeks go by fast, I’m sure they will. That’s an awesome idea for his family, plus it will give you a good little babymoon vacation! Oh wow, so your little one will already have 9 cousins!

I’ll be 27 on my birthday… I’ll be 10w3d and I would really LOVE to announce it then if all goes well, but I’m still not sure if I’m comfortable doing it before the 12 week mark.

hey im cerissa, lol i just found out yesterday, and confimed at dr this morning that im pregnant, im on cd24 so only 3 weeks, its starting to hit me that im going to be a mom. congrats to all the BFP's

Fellow Texan here :D
We dodged a bullet not having to spend any of third trimester in August. lol!

This is my first too and I'm like you and check every time I use the restroom. In fact, I get worried if cramping goes away and I'll touch to see if my boobs are still tender lol!

Sounds like your appointments are what is kind of normal. I got blood work done today because I have thyroid issues and it's very important to stay on top of that while pregnant. They went ahead and drew hormone levels at the same time.

Caressa that's brilliant about your bloods! You must be happy.

I'm doing ok. I did my second digi this morning, I ended up doing it at 4 in the morning, cos I could only hold my pee 4 hours! It did come up with 2-3 weeks, I was so glad it was up, I got 1-2 weeks Friday last week.

I've been worrying a bit about my lower back pain. I spoke to a midwife today, and she said there weren't any alarm bells yet, as I've not had any real cramping or any bleeding. But there's just no way of telling this early. I'm going to get my urine tested tomorrow (I'm actually hoping for a kidney infection!) and then maybe a scan Monday, if the back pain is still ongoing.

Here's hoping for sticky beans for everyone!

Texas, to answer your question about the weather, I'm sure it is cooler here, we have had a very unseasonably cool summer, but this week it's been 85-90's and super humid, and it rained all day today and it's about to storm now. It's supposed to be the same way in KY this weekend for our trip..so I hope it doesn't rain the whole time...I guess if it does I'll find plenty of mud to play in in my Jeep lol.

Got my results back today, they look fabulous!! Here is the trend so far..

18dpo HCG 405, Progesterone 9.7 (started prometrium)
22dpo HCG 2301, Progesterone 40
28dpo HCG 16,513 Progesterone 52

My doubling time this lab draw was 50.29hrs so it's exactly where it needs to be, and the nurse at the fertility doctor said they would normally do a scan in about a week with numbers like that. My first OB appt was supposed to be the 26th and right after I got the results they left a message cancelling my appt on Tuesday!! I will call first thing in the morning and reschedule but if they can't get me in early next week I will see if my fertility doctor will and I'll just have to pay cash for it ;(

I feel a lot better with my last two sets of labs being good. She said no reason to recheck unless there is a problem because the progression is wonderful. It is starting to sink it a bit I think, but I am so bummed about my appt getting cancelled.

July, I'll pray for a kidney infection for you!!
