Anyone else worried about the storm?

I'm not worried...I'm on the south east coast. We've had a pretty blowy day today, our street is a bit of a windtunnel at the best of times!

I'm secretly hoping a massive tree blocks the main road to work so I can stay at home with LO!

I'm really nervous about the storm. Gale force winds at night have always scared me. And my husband is working nights so I'm on my own with LO. I hope the news has just blown it out of proportion :(

Jersey wave buoy (62027), located 5 miles south of Jersey, just recorded a 21 foot wave.

That sounds...errr.....fun...xx

We have brought in the umbrella from our table outside and also the chairs and our bicycles.
London Overground trains are not running until 9AM and I usually get one at 7:20 so not sure how I am going to get into work, will probably have to get the tube through central London.
I hate storms so I am quite panicked but my OH saying it wont be that bad!

Oddly calm here. Hope all you ladies and your families affected stay safe :hugs:

Wet in Surrey too, has been windy all day but still waiting for the worst of it.

Calm here in London. Just a slight rustle of the leaves in the trees, no rain.
