Honey when you have a run of positive like that and you've ruled out pregnancy it generally means your body has struggled to ovulate.

I had 4 or 5 positives in a row in the middle of my ovulation. I kept temping just to make sure I did in fact ovulate. I figured I cought my surge on the way up, during, and then on the way back down thats why I got 4 in a row. Now I did get a positive real early but he temp didnt match with ovulation so for me that meant I was trying to ovulate but there wasnt a mature egg to pop out yet.

Yes it was.

I had positive opk's on the 6th then nothing till the 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th and then temping shown me ovulating on the 12th. I stopped doing the opk's after i got ovulation on FF. which I ended up getting my cross-hairs 2 days after ovulation. Hope that makes since.

I really believe I caught my surge from the very beginning to the ending is why I was showing so many in a row. I could be wrong but that's what I think happen to me. I think the first positive one on the 6th was my body trying to ovulate but it was too early and wasn't time yet so it stopped.

Would be nice if they could do blood work and see where your levels are or something. I really don't know what to say, I ish I did. I'm sorry... That's great you get to see a specialist though..

Thanks shawnie, I think i'll wait another week and see if a/f arrives and if she doesn't i'll go back to the doctors to see if i can have LH/FSH test done. I did mention it to the doctor but she didn't seem overly interested, she probably figures the FS will sort me out but i think it could be months before i actually get an appt for that.

I've had the same as (not on such a long scale) but i've had 4 positives in a row and i'm not taking another one today as FF has shown i've ov'd so i don't see any point wasting anymore tests.

wish FF would mark me with OV and i wouldn't worry about using any more OPKs. I've only one stick left anyways so no more after that

What happens on your chart if you put temps in on all the previous days but make sure you put them in below 36.30. This would then show a temp shift on cd15 or cd18.

Did you feel any cramping?

just tried that but no cross hairs yet

i've had cramping on and off for the past 2wks

oh i've managed to manipulate the chart to give me cross hairs on CD18! not manipulating the temps i know about but the ones pre CD12.

who knows though!

hey dano, i tested my last clear blue yesterday and yes it was smiling at me! So i've had about 10 consecutive digi +OPKs.

I'm due a/f any time now but really can't imagine being that i've not ovulated yet. If it's annovulatory then i expect it to be a long cycle.. very frustrating!

Thanks for asking though... i'll be speaking to the docto tomorrow and see what she says.

Just to let you know that the doctor said whilst she could do a test for menopause that it's not something they do routinely for fertility! She said wait a week a test with HPT, i asked - what if negative, she said to wait another week and test again.

No idea how you become pregnant if you haven;t ovulated

So the outcome is that i need to wait until my appt at the fertility clinic. I've been referred but still waiting on appt as it is and beleive that it takes around 12wks to get seen!

So basically i wait.

PS I tested on two days ago HPT was negative.

Wow, you must be really frustrated hun.

Shame the doc couldn't be more helpful.

Our EPU also does the fertility clinic, yours might be the same?
You could try ringing them for advice? Or your local gyne ward?

I really feel for you, I'd be crawling up the walls by now!

With regards to my own multiple positives, I had another 3 day run of them (4th surge this cycle!) & it seems I have finally ov'd on day 31.

hey dan-o, congratulations on getting the all clear to try again and good luck in getting a bfp very soon.

Just now i am waiting on the OPK to go negative to suggest i have ovd! its weird to be staring at the sticks willing them to be negative. Reminds me of last year waiting on the HPTs to be negatvie after the mmc!

Anyways, lots of ewcm yesterday and quite crampy, temps up a little today so maybe ovd yesterday which as it happens will put us out of the running for this month!
