Anyone here joining the "2 under 2" club - 2012 edition?

Evening all, how is everyone?

I had an interesting day.... Fell up the step at work!

Was not paying attention and my foot slipped off and down I went! Managed to turn my body so landed on my shoulder and hip rather than bump.

Was in tears with everyone crowding round! Stupid thing is, if. Was not pg I would have been killing myself with laughter as it was so stupid. Got a sore shoulder and lumping from pain in my h. However Lo is fine. Have felt lots of movement since!

Just thinking about trying to persuade Tobi that he needs to go to bed a little early tonight cos hubby and I want to watch cowboys vs aliens off box office!

Right, time to catch up!

Ohbananas - welcome! I'll have 12 months and 3 weeks between mine - are we totally mad?!

Mummy2b2010 - Nat decided to have an early start as well at 5am. Lee (hubby) was on early duty today (this holiday we're taking it in turns to get up with him and the other gets a lie in) and of course rather than settle him back down he just brought him in with us. Not that I really mind, but it did mean that of course my sleep was disrupted as I had a naughty monkey kicking me and pulling my hair until he eventually fell back to sleep.

Kerrieann - I don't think it matters whether you have a J name or not - all the names are lovely and any would sound great.

Hodbert - we really want to have the name Hannah if Bumpy is a girl, but with the surname Anning it is all A's and N's! Hannah Anning? Hannah Lindsay Anning? Hmmm, I like it but is it a bit strange?

Vicky125 - Noah is definitely on my wishlist if Bumpy is a boy. I want another biblical name, like Nathaniel, so Noah is definitely one of my favourites!

Kitty - how did the shopping go, are you pinked out to the max now?!

Jaybee - ouch, sounds painful. Good thing you were able to avoid landing on the bump. I went flying in my local supermarket when I was pregnant last time, it was soooo embarrasing. It had been raining and the floor was slippery near the door and I walked in, turned to go down one of the aisles and just crashed. I didn't hurt my bump, just my leg but it was rather scary at the time as I imagine it was for you today.

We had a lovely day taking Nat out for a walk/pull on his toboggan. Of course we had to stop at a couple of mountain restaurants for a hot chocolate (large beer in Lee's case, which Nat tried to steal)

Now had yet another massive dinner at home and time to settle down and watch TV for the evening. Luckily we can get C4 so One Born Every Minute later, woo! It is tonight isn't it? xx

Mummy2b I actually kinda like Hannah anning, but I do know what you mean, maybe with a middle name it wldnt be so bad. At least you're not thinking Anna anning!

Meredith I wldnt worry about the weight, if u weren't pregnant yes but you are supposed to be gaining weight!

Kitty how did your shopping go?

I had put a load of holly's newborn clothes on eBay but completely frgot our friends are having twins, one of each, and they already have a boy so they need girl clothes. Anyway they came round and gave us £50 for the lot which saved me tons of time, effort to post and gives us a bit of money to buy some blue!!

awww.. that stuff is soo cute... i miss shopping for tiny baby girl clothes.. boy shopping isn't merely as satisfying :D

Gorgeous stuff kitty! Especially love the pink tutu skirt!

Thanks girl.

Morning ladies - How are we all today?

Jaybee - How are you after your fall? xx

me today = very sore back and bump, and a cold last night/this morning but all good apart from that :D... but on the plus side i got nates baby seat today :D

heres a pic
bouncer:seat.jpg

heidis been great too.. and she is getting a fair bit of a temper on her.. lol...

Love the clothes Kitty! Slightly jealous you get to buy pink, does that make me wierd lol, this is my last so will never be buying pretty girly stuff  x

Vikki that seats gorgeous, wheres it from? x

the seat i got off U.S. ebay as it isn't sold in australia, but the matching swing is.. i had the swing from heidi and she had a pink bouncer, so i was searching the net and found this one which matches so i bought it.. :D.. its awesome... were babysitting my SIL's 1 month old son tonight so i have it set up and its making me really want nate to come sooner... its so cute set up :D.. lol only disadvantage was paying as much for postage as the seat itself cost

The seat is lush Vicky. I think we'll get this babe a cocoony seat rather than the bog standard relaxing seat thing Fin had.

Kerrie - I don't think the way you are feeling is weird at all. I know I would be feeling that way if this baby was a boy. As loved and wanted as a boy would have been, it would have been our last and I would have had a period of sadness at never having done the pink side. You'll have 3 wonderfully healthy boys though who can all play together and share interests. How amazing that will be xxx

The seats lovely.
I want to get this baby a hammock for naps. Tobi loved it when we used to visit a friend who had one, and he still loves hammocks now.
Tobi hated his swing seat and bouncer!!

heidi loved her swing, the bouncer not so much but we chose to hold her most times.. lol.. hoping he likes the seat more then heidi did.. :D

Morning.... Well afternoon all. How is everyone feeling?
Vicki, sorry to hear u are under the weather. Hope u feel better soon.
I am ok at the moment, have moments of utter tiredness, however Tobi is sleeping till 630/7 for the last three mornings.... Bet I've jinxed it now!! However he is refusing to go to sleep at night still!!!

We are off to see my in-laws next week in France, so really looking forward to having some time away.

oooh.. have fun in france... id love to go there.. that would be awesome..

as for the under the weather part, its alright, he has dropped today so hoping it means i don't have too much longer to go..everything seems like it may be a good sign.. lol.. and discovered theres a bruise on my stomach from him kicking me so hard.. what can i do.. :D

Het ladies. I'm rubbish at posting here!
I think, fingers crossed, my sickness is stopping. I actually made myself a sandwich without heaving today. Ok I made myself two sandwiches. Appetite is defo back!

Can I join?
