Anyone hoping for a New Year's BFP?!?!

So I tested again. Since I slept 13 straight hours it is rare for me to have that kind of hold. So I tested. It is still just a really faint line. So I am wondering if it one to early or that I just got a bad batch.

:happydance: I just wanted to pop in and do a little happy dance that I'm a whole week past ovulation, and normally I'd just be O'ing today or maybe even just getting a +OPK. Yay femara <3

Emilie - FXed super tight for you. Do you have any pics of todays test?

I thought the same about clomid KrissyB! I actually ovulated on CD15. I keep telling myself I should just be happy I ovulated this month, regardless of a BFP or not. Easier said than done though. When are you going to test? Xx

Emilie, was that with an IC? Perhaps you could test with a FRER for a definitive answer if you haven't already tried that. They are the only ones I believe! Xx

Teeny - LOL I try to keep telling myself the same thing... progress is progress even if it's not a complete success. I'll probably test on Friday (10 dpo). You said you're waiting for AF this cycle, right? When you expect her?

Well, I must confess I POAS today. :-( I could kick myself as I'm only 8DPO and of course it was going to be a BFN. If my LP is the average 14 days I would expect AF on Monday. I need to be strong and not test until then at least. I feel so weak! Lol xx

There is nothing on frer but it is still early.

I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you, Emilie!

And for the ladies waiting to test... baby dust to you all!

AFM, not having much luck sorting my body out quite yet. Got a peak CBAdv reading on CD 7, then of course the smiley stays for 2 more days so you can't retest. So I used the monitor again yesterday on CD 10 and got blank circle, now today it's blinking smiley. So confusing. I'm guessing it will keep right on blinking all the way to AF, like it did last cycle. I'm temping, but no sustained spikes over baseline yet. So I'm thinking maybe I haven't O'd, even though the digi monitor thought it picked up LH surge. Who knows. More tracking and sorting things out in my near future!

Okay I for one had to stop using the Clear blue advance monitor because it doesn't just detect LH. You get the blinking face when it detects a rise in E3G
Which because I have pcos and endometriosis I can get a rise in E3G More than once and not just right before ovulation. Some people get more than one rise and don't have endometriosis or pcos. So I was getting blinking face all the time I didn't believe it until I got a peak face after. But now I just use the wondfo and have much better luck because they just detect Lh. Oh and here is a link to the clear blue sight which explains the two different hormones it detects better than I can.https://www.clearblueeasy.com/healthcare/clearblue-advanced-digital-ovulation-test.php I hope I helped and wasn't to confusing.

Emilie-- I pretty much ignore the blinking smiley now because it measures estrogen, and mine seems to be all over the map. The peak face is supposed to measure the LH surge, so that's all I'm trying to see with it. I use the CVS brand OPK strips as well, in hopes of matching up a peak reading with a dark line. Both were all over the place last month. I started using the digi because I wasn't getting a completely dark line (never a "true" positive) with strips so I really wanted more information. :-( But now it's just another misleading thing. Lol. Temps aren't giving any info yet either. Neither is CM--- TMI, but it's a mixture of stretchy but thick and cloudy. Super stretchy (like 3 inches), but thick and not clear. This is what it is for the past 3-4 days. Hoping to see some good legit EWCM this month to give FF more information to work with.

You can get a more thick cloudy ewcm if you are dehydrated in the slightest bit or if you estrogen is to hifh or low. But some women don't get a thinner clear ewcm. My doctor told me because my hormones are not consistent that I would have different ewcm. Depending on where my hormones were at when I ovulated. I don't temp I just do opks, cm, and look for my monthly ovulation symptoms. I keep track of all that. Learned real fast that the digital opks were a waste of money for me.. I have only gotten a few true positives. Because I only test once sometimes twice a day. So you may just be missing your surge.

Maybe so. I only have a few more sticks of the digi, so I probably won't rebuy a new pack because they are too expensive and my budget can't keep springing for them endlessly, especially if they aren't helping me. Maybe in the future if my other signs start lining up I'll try them again. Even so, I probably won't try the advanced one again, just the regular.

It does worry me though that something might be wrong if it is picking up high estrogen so frequently throughout my cycle. Trying not to jump to conclusions about it though.

BTW, have you tested again?

I haven't since I got a positive opk. I haven't gotten another positive opks since so I think I ovulated Wednesday.

Have you been tested for pcos, or endometriosis. Both can cause a hormone imbalances. So can vitamin d deficiency. Which I also have but it is very treatable. It can cause temporary infertility until you bring you vitamin d up. Mine are back to normal and I am ovulating again. The pcos is what my doctor says cause my estrogen to fluctuate so much. Why I get highs and lows so often. You can have pcos with out a cyst. I have cysts but some of my cousins don't. But they also have pcos.

The thread has been quiet lately. I miss how busy it was. I have found a sperm donor. So hopefully I will get bfp within the next few months.

I'm on CD 22. I don't think I ovulated, again, on Clomid....so I think I'm out for this cycle. Going to test on CD 28, if negative I will begin Provera (AF never comes unless made to)...and then I think I'm going to try Vitex and inistol while waiting to get in with a specialist..

I'm so frustrated.

I personally wouldn't use vitex. It can make things worse. I was going to use it until I did research and asked my doctor.
