Anyone in their 20's and ttc #1?

I'm so sorry peach cheeks. Another chance, though. What are you going to try this time around?

Oh! I wanted to write an update. I'm on CD25, I've had crazy acne since 3DPO. It's all over my chin and up the sides of my face, it's pretty embarrassing. It's actually painful. Has anyone ever had this after taking Clomid and a trigger shot?

I got a few zits after my clomid, but its normal for me after ovulating to get one or two so nothing new here!

Third day of clomid today, but the first day of taking it, it made me sick and dizzy just after it :(

I have been pregnant before from clomid though

Thank you. At the moment I am self soothing with sweets haha:icecream:
Well, first I am going to call my dr and make an appointment. This was my 6th month of clomid so I don't think I can get a refill. I'll probably ask about femara, or see what else she suggests. I did order a sperm check kit this morning for dh, we've never had his :spermy: tested so that's probably a good idea. Since we have been ttc for a year I might make an appt with a RE. I'll keep using a lot of what I've used all year: Preseed, prenatals, red raspberry leaf tea, softcups. I tried guaifenesin and didn't like it so I'll try EPO this month. (I read once not to use it with clomid which is why I haven't tried it yet) Any other suggestions??

I have never tracked my bbt before, I thought about starting on CD1 (today) but gosh I forgot! I don't wake up and think about things right away, so I forget to do do it.

I saw that Astroglide just released "TTC" for a sperm friendly lube. I can only find it online, but it's about $5 cheaper than preseed. Before I order it I was wondering if anyone has tried it?

Yes, Clomid gave me acne during the TWW. Actually, all my clomid side effects were after I ovulated. It also gave me terrible cramps during AF, but hopefully you won't experience that because you'll be pregnant :hugs:

Thanks peach! I know what you mean, I can never remember to temp right when I wake up, so when I did try it, my numbers were all wacky because I could never temp at the same time or even before I got out of bed. I've heard good things about Femara! One of my friends tried it after a couple years of TTC and got pregnant the first cycle.

I tried soft cups this cycle for the first time and I didn't really understand it. It never "felt" right.

I've never heard about astroglide. We still have a little pre-seed left so I might look up astroglide when I order it again.

AF is due on Wednesday... hopefully the witch doesn't show for me.

SarahLou- I'm sorry it made you sick. Hopefully you won't have to take it again. But if you do, I would try taking it at night before bed, maybe you'll be able to sleep through the symptoms.

Peach - sorry this month wasn't it for you. But it sounds like you have a very solid plan with getting your DH tested and making an appointment since it has been more than a year. A few months ago I started taking B6 because I spot before my period quite a bit, and it not only lengthened my LP but I had crazy EWCM! I take it with a B Complex now. Side note: B6, especially at night, makes for some weird dreams! Have you ever had your vitamin D levels checked? I think thatist people are low on it because sunblock and sunglasses are a big thing, but mine was really low, so I started it this cycle. Look it up, sounds like good levels for TTC are in the higher range of normal. Good luck with all of your tests!

Update on me - temp was up 0.1 today from yesterday, so that makes 3 days in a row elevated, FF and I are confident now that I Od on CD27, so I am 3 DPO today. Sensitive nipples since O, but that is nothing new. Good luck everyone!

BBT is a great idea. You should put your thermometer right on your phone at night. I would do that because when I open my eyes, the first thing I reach for is my phone. It is very important to take your temperature before you move around a lot and definitely before you get up.

So I ended up getting AF. I am trying again this month with cycle 2 of Clomid. I am not going to stress over it. I will monitor my symptoms, however to try to see what to look for when I TTC #2. But until then, still waiting for #1. :(

Love your profile pic of your pets! such cute pups. Thanks for the positivity! Soft cups are weird at first but I think I've figured them out now. Just slip it in while your still laying down and it will keep everything inside! I ordered preseed because I don't want to order the astroglide until someone else has tried it lol. I've used YesBaby and didn't like it as much as preseed so I'm reserved about that.

Sorry about AF! I know how it feels, I had 6 clomid attempts fail on me and still have never been pregnant. Your chances are really high for this month though so I'll keep you in my prayers! :hugs:

Thank you for the tip, I will buy some B vitamins! I take a Calcium + D3 supplement but I've never had my levels checked. I do wear sunscreen and I don't eat dairy so I figured I might as well. I hope everything is going well for you!

Thanks Peach :)

AF is due today, still no signs of it. Keeping my fingers crossed, but Im not hopeful at all anymore.

I'm going to try Clomid again, and we're going to do our first IUI this cycle. I think I'll stick with pre seed also, I don't want to try something different.

I hope so. I had a positive opk on Saturday and Sunday, then they were negative o n Monday, and Tuesday, but yesterday it came back as a flashing smiley face, meaning that my levels were high. Could I be O'ing more than once this month? At first slight cramping on the left, now slight cramping on the right. I really hope I pg this month. If this cycle doesn't work, then I will be waiting to try during the summer. Wish my luck. I am trying so hard not to stress this month and so far I am doing really well, but I am still curious about my OPKs. Any insight?

Well, I ended up ovulating CD27, today is CD32, so 6 dpo, no hurting boons, no symptoms at all really, yesterday huge temp spike, still up, though lower than yesterday, this morning. Then to the bathroom.... And brown sporting. Quite a bit. I know it is AF. It would be that time in my normal cycle (when i O on CD21) but it looks like my O date got delayed and I one told my uterus. So very sad and beat down camper today. There is a little in my pad, but it hasn't continued, but I am just not positive at all that this is anything other than the wicked witch herself. Someone needs to drop a house on this witch! I'm suck if seeing her!

I think I am going to try Vitex next month. My cycles started normal and I didn't want to touch them (though I O late) but this is getting ridiculous now, I think it is obvious that I have a hormonal imbalance. Nothing to lose by trying it. I guess 7 wasn't the lucky number for us! On to cycle #8 and new things!

I hope you are all getting along very well and close to your BFPs!

TinyLynne, don't lose hope just yet. I thought I got AF and even updated my FF to reflect AF. She was different than usual and came very light and was completely gone in less than 24 hours. It turned out to be implantation bleeding and I'm currently pregnant. So just wait it out for another day to see if it's definitely AF. Good luck!

Congrats ProudWifey! Unfortunately I always spot before AF, for at least 2, sometimes 3 days. I keep asking God to let me be one of the lucky ones that bleeds and is still pregnant! And for the first 4 cycles or so I always kept hope that it was IB and not AF, but after a while I just get upset when I see any blood at all. I REALLLLLLY hope you are right. I will temp again in the morning, so we will just have to see what tomorrow brings!

Thanks for the encouraging words! They really are appreciated!

I always spotted 2-3 days leading up to AF as well. When I had implantation bleeding, I even felt period cramps. I didn't hesitate for a second to put it in as AF in my FF. Only until I notice it completely disappear after 24 hours did I know something was different. Is your LP long enough?
