I'm currently breastfeeding but I also give formula as well. It's really difficult at first and I know a lot of women who have tried it, didn't enjoy it so they switched to formula which is PERFECTLY ok! This is your child and your choice. If you feel like you aren't enjoying it, it's too tiring or you just don't feel like doing it anymore.. then stop. it's better if you're enjoying your child and you don't need to be stressed out about breastfeeding. In all honesty though it does get better and even though it's extremely difficult and tiring in the beginning, once your LO gets into a routine it will be much easier on you. Keep it up if you can but if you don't feel like it's your cup of tea, then stop
Also, have you considered expressing milk? It's a lot easier on the breasts and won't make them as sore as bfing.My sister stopped BFing her LO at 5 months and continues to express milk and give it to her by bottle.. so at least she's getting breastmilk!
