Mrs W- hmm I haven't decided whether to test or not as I don't have any spare tests and might just leave it this month and see if AF turns up
Fleur- I'm sure your colleagues will be happy for you hun I know what you mean though about it being tricky. My hairdresser has been ttc for 4 years and is on her second round of IVF treatment and I know she would give anything for a bubba. When I was pregnant with lo I found it really hard telling her- actually she kind of guessed from my bump. Feel so sorry for her

Thanks girls, lots of good advice as always! I know she will be happy for me as she is a super lovely person but its still hard isn't it? Anyway I'm hoping that by the time I come to announce she too will be pregnant - fingers and toes crossed.

Castaway that's so sad about your colleague. Honestly it does make you think how it's actually a total miracle that anyone ever gets pregnant and gets safely through pregnancy.

Twinks - what cd are you on? I hate testing early as its so uncertain whatever result you get really. But it is addictive I was thinking today I might go and buy some tests, just to be sure I'm still pregnant! Ha ha!

Ooh I was just treated to my very own fireworks display as the neighbours have put on a big display and I am sat on my bed watching it! How nice to be in the warm but able to see it all!! Less keen on the fact that its keeping dd up though...!

I just had to break the news of my BFP to one of my closest friends who has been ttc number 1 for over 2 years. She took it well considering, said all the things she was meant to but I could hear how down she was felt awful xx

Hi everyone. Just wondered if anyone had experience of antibiotics during TTC? I feel dreadful and think I have a sinus infection. Im pretty sure I'm not pg, but as my cycles aren't clockwork yet I wouldn't be able to test to be sure until Sunday when I'd be cd25 c11DPO.

I was in hospital last week on intravenous antibiotics and pumped full of pain killers. Spoke to my doc today as got BFP this morning and she said nothing to worry about as was such early days

Nic just run it by your doctor. I actually was on painkillers and knocked out for surgery....I can't say for sure that was why my little one never turned into a baby but I can't help but wonder! I would just run it by the doctor and maybe try more natural methods? Like the netti pot??

Thanks everyone. I've got Sinusitis and they've prescribed me 500mg amoxicillin. I'm going to hold off starting them until tomorrow pm. I should be okay having antibiotics but I'm going to see if I improve on my own tomorrow.

Oh Nic sinusitis is really horrible. I had it not long ago but luckily mine cleared on its own as was viral. I reall feel for you, I hope you feel better soon x

I am not sure what Helps is, It did take her liver though. She had to wait a year to try again as she needed to regrow her liver. It sounded so scary

HELLPs is a strain of pre-eclampsia. It's very, very dangerous. She'll also have increased risk of pre-eclampsia in any further pregnancies too so she likely will be extra fearful if she gets pregnant again.

We are hoping to go to some fireworks, not sure what dd will think! What's everyone else up to? X

We're forecasted torrential rain this weekend, so going to give the fireworks a miss with our bugs! I have a friend whose pub opening is this Saturday so hoping to be well enough to show my face. Apart from that we're going to see my mum as she hasn't seen DS in almost a month. We try not to leave it more than 2 weeks but we had plans the week before Halloween and then the lurgy last week! Apart from that we're waiting for AF to arrive and then looking at 'proper' baby making (by that I mean actually DTD rather than being sick or tired!!!)

Lol Mrs W I'm not meaning to keep people in suspense. I'm on cd 25 and no cramps yet. Waiting waiting waiting lol. Not going to test as we have so much going on and feel really calm/ happy. If it doesn't happen this month I'm totally cool with it as only dtd 3 times. You just never know though so I'm hoping and keeping my fingers crossed.
Fireworks wise my lo has been teething terribly and was so tired last sat night so we missed all local displays. We watched a few out of the window though. This weekend we have my ohs brother and partner round which will be nice how's everyone doing? What CDs are you all on?

CD22 here. Average cycle last time was 25 days. I tell you what being sick this
Week has been good training for being pg with a toddler!

Twinks I think we only dtd 3 times when I got my bfp so you maybe haven't undercooked it! Keep us posted - not long to go! If af doesn't show on cd28 when will you test?!

Aw Nic - don't blame you wanting to avoid the fireworks. Are you feeling any better?

Sorry that ds is teething twinks - we are still waiting for dd's final 4 teeth, it's like torture not knowing when they will arrive! Hope your ds has a better night tonight and you all get some more sleep xx

We did it just the once when we conceived DS and like I said before we had zero idea of o date either. It was pure luck!

Feeling better but my head is pounding still. Back to work tomorrow!! So who here apart from Twinks and I are close to AF date?

I agree,come on nov BFP's! im CD5 and OV seems a life time away,let alone a BFP.
Been feeling a bit down this week even though its only been one proper month of TTC since BC,its already getting to me,i dont know how i coped waiting seven cycles last time!

Aw dogtanian - never good when you feel like that. I always think the wait up to ovulation is as bad as the traditional 2ww - hugs! What cd did you ovulate last month?

Hope you've got some nice stuff planned for the weekend! This manky weather doesn't help huh...
