Anyone trying for #2 around cd 4?

Sorry af got you twinks! I do love the af preside idea though, it's genius!! A lovely way to cheer ourselves up if its not our cycle and onto the next one.

The build up to Christmas, ooh I'm excited already. I'm putting my tree up 1st December which isn't long now!! Can't wait. I love feeling all cosy and festive with the tree lights on, lush! When will you girls out your trees up?

Not Nic I hope the witch stays away! Keep us posted. What will your af present be if she comes?!

Oh fleur I remember that anxious early pregnancy feeling from last time. It is a worrying time and even though I am sure all will be just fine, I do remember how I couldn't stop worrying. The hormones don't help I don't think. Maybe you need an early pregnancy stress relieving present for yourself?! Try to keep busy, hubby made me go out to the cinema and for walks last time or ran me a bath to get my mind off it.

Afm...... 12 dpo today. I want to wait to test until Wednesday as its hubby's bday but I might do a sneaky preview test tomorrow as don't want to have a downer on the day f it's bfn? I had an ib with my last preg which I haven't had this time. I have been feeling sick and moody and tired though and I peed on an opk yesterday 'as a treat' (what the hell has my life come to hahah) and it had a faint line. So I am swinging between thinking in out and thinking I'm pregnant. We will see..........

Hope everyone is doing ok. Xxx

Hi everyone. I'm out this month but feeling fine about it. I didn't feel too bad either when it showed as I was expecting it. On to the next month! :) Hope the witch stays away for you Mrs W.

Sorry to hear af got you Nic - but glad you're feeling ok about it. Onwards and upwards to next month and some festive bfps! Are you going to get an af pressie?!

Mrs w did you test yet? I hope your hubby gets an extra special birthday gift!

Thanks for all your sympathy re early pregnancy - it is a scary time, ESP when you don't have many symptoms :-(

Today however I have been too busy/excited to worry or think about it too much - I can't remember if I mentioned to you guys but we have been undergoing restructure at work and I've been offered a super duper new job! It's not really a promotion but its working on much better stuff so I am really excited and happy.

I am now absolutely dreading telling my new manager that I'm pregnant!!!! I had pretty much decided I would do it after the 12 wk scan either way but I feel very cheeky that (all being well) I will do the role for barely 6 months before I go on mat leave...

Anyway I guess they probably knew it was possible I would have another child soon but I do feel quite bad. And worried that the new team I'm going into will be shaped when I'm on mat leave and I will be a bit left behind...

Ah it's hard being a working mummy sometimes!!

X

Nic sorry the witch got you! A December bfp would be a great present though and a fall baby would be great to. We were actually targeting then but took us almost a year with dd so didn't expect it so soon this time.

Fleur I was kind of loving the no symptoms but now I have constant nausea, the congestion, fatigue...I totally forgot how much the first tri sucks. I think we block it out so it is more appealling to get preggo again... Then it all comes flooding back. Looking forward to that scan and 2nd tri !

Wishing all you ladies lots of luck and baby dust for this month!

love to join you, i just registered on here today, I am trying for number 2 now, my youngest is 3 years old, and im on cycle day 6 :-)

Massive congrats on the new job role Fleur!!! Don't worry hun I think companies expect it and I'm sure it won't be a problem.

Welcome wantbabie :-) I'm on cd4 so we're at a similar point. Do u know what cd u roughly ov on? Are u tracking with ov kits or temp etc? :-)

Sorry to hear you're feeling unwell sparky but hang on in there. You'll be in second tri before u know it :-) x

Ah Sparky you'll be over it soon. Keep your chin up. How many weeks are you now? Doing a bit if a calculation, if I fall this month we'd be expecting a mid- August baby, so I have two more cycles before we start clashing with October birthdays.

This month my AF present will be booze :) I have a few weekends coming up with nights out with friends and I'm going to allow myself wine and a cocktail or too. Nothing silly mind, but I'm going to relax and enjoy a glass while I can.

Welcome wantbabie I'm now CD2, but shortish cycles so I always seem to catch everyone up. :)

I got a bfp today!! Just in time for hubby's birthday xx

Lol Not Nic loving the AF pressie! X

Thank you!

Yes he was really pleased this morning fleur! I had an inkling as I've been feeling sick for a few days but he was really surprised! Congrats to you too on your new job, fantastic news!! Don't worry about the pregnancy, I stressed the first time for similar reasons and it all works itself out for the best xx

)

Nic I am almost 8 weeks! Saw the naturopath yesterday for some acupuncture and remedies so that seems to have helped a bit.

Fleur - don't worry about your new job! That's awesome news and you have to take the opportunity when it presents itself. I'm going through something similar at work now but decided I don't think I want the new job but applied anyway.

Thank you!

Congrats Mrs.W and what great timing!! Now you don't have to get your hubby a gift ;)

Thanks guys! I know I figure they must expect it. My new manager has two kids (albeit grown up ones!) so I'm sure she will understand.

Mrs w still so excited for you! What a fab birthday for your hubby! It's weird when you think you could be preg but try and tell yourself that you're not so you don't get your hopes up! But just goes to show that some symptom spotting is valid!!!

Sparky have you seen your midwife yet? I was told to call mine at 8 wks which is a week today. I was really stressing earlier as my boobs didn't feel like they hurt as much (which has been my main symptom!) but they're back with a vengeance tonight - phew! Funny the things that put our minds at ease?!!

Just checking in and i see congrats are in order Mrs W! When are you due?
Cant wait to put our tree up.Hubs and i are going shoppjng for even more decorations next week, and i want to make it extra special and sparkley for my lil DD.
She has been so naughty and stroppy today, shes even refusing to have her nappy changed,i feel so stressed i feel like my eyeballs are gonna pop out!
:dust:

Congratulations Mrs W! Yay for another BFP!

Sparky what did the naturopath give you? I'm intrigued as I had dreadful all day ms - though nausea and dry heaving, rather than being sick last time. Luckily it was mostly gone by 10wks (to be replaced with heartburn and rib flare  ) but I'm scared how I'd cope a second time.

Anyone have a plan for next cycle?

Oh my goodness my lg hates having her nappy done too and has huge tantrums about it!!

Not sure on edd but is guess around 23 July which is only 2 days after my dds birthday!!

Work was stressful today as the lady I sit next to has cancer and announced in the office she was off for her scan and as she was having a nucleur injection she wasn't ok to be near pregnant people so was anyone pregnant?! Awkward!! It was awful! No way was I going to tell anyone at work so I told my boss it was really badly handled. The lady is so lovely and meant no harm by it, she'd be so upset if she knew but I was panicking! My boss told her not to come back but I made up a fake meeting and snuck out just incase!!! Arghhh

Ah well at least you will have all the right clothes for the right seasons if you have another girl mrs w!

That's horrible re work - but think you did the right thing!! I too think all my colleagues know I'm preg as we went out for lunch yesterday to celebrate various promotions and our manager ordered a bottle of champers - everyone had a tiny glass (as everyone drives to work) but I said no thanks - it is soooo obvious as I love a drink! So I'm totally busted too :-(

How is everyone else? Any weekend plans? What cd are you all on? Xx

Ooh yes that's true about clothes, we were team yellow so all the newborn and 0-3 stuff is neutral anyway.

Did anyone at work ask if you were pregnant? I don't mind too much if people politely ignore it but when they ask I find it so cringey! It's such a no no to ask someone if they are pregnant if they haven't announced I don't get why people do that!

We are off for our weekend away for hubby's birthday. I'm excited but feeling so so tired! And his family will notice I'm not drinking so going to say I'm tired tonight and might have to drink shuffle with hubby tonight so they think I've got a wine but I won't drink any.

What's everyone else up to. Xxx
