Basically.......OH gets childcare vouchers.
In Jan and Feb his employer took £220 off him each month, but she didnt manage/bother (Bosses wife does payroll and is inept!) to set up the vouchers - but took the money. She finally set it up in March so they have taken £243 for March & for April ok, but he spoke to them today as the paywifey said it could be backdated.............and it turns out that they can only backdate in the same tax year!
So His work have £440 of OH money, that is meant to be in vouchers. My question is does anyone know...........can his work jsut give us a cheque addressed to the nursery for the £440 or will it now have to be paid to him and tax deducted??
I'm hoping its the latter as if not then it puts us in a deficit with the nursery....
