April 2018 mummies!!

Our local place is £60 for an early scan so not too bad . I had eary scans with both my previous babies so feel like I should ... plus I want to !

There is a place in Maidstone that does a 'just gender ' scan too for £39 which is so reasonable . I might sneak off and do that when the time comes :)

I forget how tiring this is . It's really the hardest part in my opinion ! I'm so sleepy in afternoons which isn't ideal when it's the summer hols and I have a 5 and 2 year old to entertain. My 5 year old is really grating on me as going through a bit of a rebellious attitude stage apparently and today i totally lost it with her ! Need to keep my cool !

Hope everyone is doing ok. Out of tests here but tempted to also hubby to buy a pack of clear blue digital so I can see if I'm progressing !

Congrats to all with new BFP's

We had a private early scan last time around 7-8 weeks which cost us £50 so we will be doing it again, just for reassurance.

My symptoms are quite minimal atm. Mainly tiredness and some cramping on and off, but that's about it, I don't feel pregnant. My sickness started at 6 weeks last time so give it another week or so and I'm sure it'll kick in!

We live in Wales. It's nice to know where everyone is living. I was thinking of setting up a private Facebook page for us all, I will look into how it's done and make sure it's private so no one can see that you're on the page! Let me know if you'd be interested, I had it with my last LO and found it so helpful!

Where will you go?

I go to Kent imaging in west malling.

It's hard when the kids play up and you just want to scream
Can't even turn to wine now!

Guess a Fanta zero will have to do!

I meant kings hill!

Kent medical imagine is exactly where I go ! It's amazing because they were £60 when I had a scan with dd and she's 5.5 now !

I live in kings hill :)

The £39 gender scan is at the turkey mill in Maidstone . It's. Bit of a no frills only gender but still good service according to my friend who found out at 17 weeks . Kmi is more expensive for a gender scan .

Funny what a small world it is hmcx :) xx. So when will you be getting a scan ? Have you booked one ?

I went to kings hill with my daughter almost 8 years ago and it was £60, I also had a gender scan there at 16 weeks and got a DVD.

When I had my first scan at 6 weeks they invited me back to rescan at 8 weeks for free to get a better picture.

I haven't booked yet, it's from 6 weeks so I can go anytime from Tuesday. Not sure how long to wait!

I guess the general rule is the longer you wait , the better/more you see ! It's awesome that hey invited you back... I'd be interested to know if they did that again as I don't think you could bank on it !

I'm not 5 weeks till Sunday - so long to wait ! X it's good they keep the prices down .

Hi I'm due April 13th.. having a scan on the first.. feeel like crap lol

Ugh I know exactly what you mean! I have a 4 and 2 year old and they constantly want to play and go to the park... always on the go and I'm just so exhausted!

Halas, you and I are due the same day, my first scan is the 28th. Here's to lucky Friday the 13th babies :)

Nausea hit me noticeably for the first time yesterday, I'm hoping it stays manageable. How did those of you with previous pregnancies find ms? Did it get a lot worse after onset or stay pretty stable?

With my son I had morning sickness every day until around 25 weeks. Some days I'd just be sick once or twice and other days it would be all day. But I was able to manage it well enough. I'm hoping I won't get the sickness this time around!!

With my first daughter I had morning sickness alllllll day, but never actually got sick... just always felt really nauseous. With my second daughter I was running to the bathroom with my morning sickness at least 3 times a day. Soooo every pregnancy is different. Both times my morning sickness lasted until I was around 22 weeks.

I had hyperemisis with my DD. I was stuck on bed rest my entire first trimester because I lost 10lbs and was throwing up 6-15 times a day, even if I hadn't eaten. Second trimester I was able to be up more, but was still vomiting 3-6 times a day. Then in my 3rd trimester I was stuck back on bed rest when I started having contractions at 30weeks and throwing up 6-15 times a day again. I threw up every 30 minutes in labor.

So. All of that to say that I am *super* nervous this time around. I have been having some pretty bad waves of nausea, but no throwing up yet. Fx it stays that way.

Hello! I'm so happy to be able to join the first trimester boards!

Currently pregnant with what we hope is #1.

My next scan is Thursday Aug 24th. My 1st BHCG was 3320 and my 2nd at 48hrs was 7150! Somehow my OB still suspects an ectopic pregnancy because she couldn't see anything on the ultrasound at 4 weeks 3 days.

I've had previous MCs and have been seeing the infertility specialists for a year, plus I've had cervical cancer and I'm considered a high risk pregnancy, hence the early scan. But 4w3d is MUCH too early. Even so, I can't help feeling so nervous about this little bean!

My current EDD is April 21 2018 but since I haven't been able to see anything on a scan, it's only a very general estimate.

Keep your FX'd for me. I need all the sticky dust I can get!

Mrs.B wow! so sorry to hear that your first pregnancy was so difficult!!! Hope this time around is different

Feeling so anxious !

When I have cramps I'm worrying if they are ok but then when I fee nothing I worry too !

Right now I'm not feeling any symptoms as not even that tired although earlier today I really was feeing groggy ! Can't wait till I'm further along and hopefully get to see baby on early scan. Doesn't get easier the more times you do this apparently !
