I go back to work tomorrow and it is the first timme I will be away from Caleb for more than a hour or two... at least he will be with my grandma so it will be a little easier but I expect tears and worry tomorrow,.... oh yeah and I just haven't had time to be on here much either as Caleb has real bad reflux and has these episodes of choking and gasping so after I feed him I have to hold him upright for at least 20 min... and feeding is still hard for me as he BF for about a hour but still needs supplement then I pump he just isn't able to take it out super well a little better using the shield but I love him and want him to get as much of my milk as possible so I don't mind it just take a lot of time... lol

Well the last 2 days I've been helping a friend with a project and getting paid. Its nice making some much needed $ but hard being away from Rosie. I've been waking up in the middle of the night to pump so no formula for Rosie yet. Makes me more confident about going back to work.

Rosie also slept somewhere between 7 and 8 hrs straight in her own bed last night! I put 1/2 tsp of rice cereal into her bortle yesterday- not sure it was enough to make a difference but she LOVED it.

I don't know what my midwife did at my 6-week check up but I'm now sore again! She said that I'm not completely healed and that I shouldn't start running until about 9 weeks. I was really hoping to start running again this week. I'm also having problems with my right hip. I can't sit cross-legged without discomfort in my hip. She suggested some post-pregnancy yoga so ordered a video from Amazon. I also ordered a post-pregnancy workout that incorporates the baby in the workout. I'm excited to start them! Hopefully they'll keep me sane until I can run and then be a nice addition to my running.

Cami, I hope you have a great first day back to work! I have one more week. I'm really nervous!

Sazzle, hope the movie was great! I enjoyed my night out without Isis last night. I missed her but it was nice to be able to go to a party.

Dana, I ended up going to an emergency room that is only that. There's no hospital attached. They were able to see me as soon as we walked in.

I'm off to bed. I got 4 hours of sleep this morning. I was awake until 4am taking care of Isis. Have a great night/day everyone.

Jen, Take That were amazing! I'm back in love with Robbie again! My boobs were about to explode when I got home. I pumped twice whilst out too! Tried to feed Rex when I got in but he has sparko so I was hooked up my electric pump at 1am!

Cheese lover, that's bad news about the running but the next 3 weeks will fly by & you'll be running before you know it. x

Sazzle I am so pleased you enjoyed it. And that you love Robbie again, I have not been sure what to think of him since he rejoined the boys!!!! And now you have some milk stored up for rex too!

George was a star last night and slept from 9 til 2 and then from 3 til 7, I actually feel almost normal today! This morning though he was a proper pickle so I couldnt give his massage a go he was so upset, he finally settled on me and is now sound asleep in his pram! I need to go out this afternoon but think I will wait til after his next feed otherwise it will be a race to get back home on time!

ooh jealous sazzle! just wondering, how did you manage to pump while out? as in where did you go? do you have a hand pump as well as electric?

i've been invited to a theme park with my friends for the day in a few wks time and really want to go if i can get a baby sitter, it wouldn't be a problem leaving enough milk for alex but i couldn't manage a whole day without pumping, i'd end up properly soaking my clothes and being horribly uncomfortable! i don't have a hand pump though and not sure there would be anywhere private to even pump at a theme park..hmm.

When do u all pump? I never get the chance as she doesn't go long before feedings and I worry about the milk type she's getting! Sometimes she feeds off just one boob as she gets enough so I guess I could pump the other, I Am bursting after 3 hours! I thought the mad leaking days were over - not a chance! We are in a routine but kind of have to be with a kid about to start preschool! She goes to bed at 8pm latest after cluster feeding for an hour. Then goes to 11/12am then 3/4 am then 7/8am. Usually depends on when she toes down what time shel wake . But she set this routine herself bless her!
Off to dove tomo though as I think she has reflux

aw poor amelia hope the dr can help!

to get a supply in the freezer i pumped after alex had had his fill of whatever was left, gradually this increased as my body thinks it needs to produce more. Now i've a good supply in the freezer i'm only pumping when i use freezer milk when he would normally feed off me. sometimes to give me a little break and once so i could go out without him.

Caro - yep I have a hand pump too. A medela one that's really good. As I was just pumping & dumping yesterday with having nowhere to store the milk, I just went & locked myself in the loo for 20 mins cos hygiene wasn't an issue! Not the comfiest place but necessary.

Miss Fox - Robbie isn't my DH!!! I bloody wish he was! lol Robbie is part of the band Take That who I went to see last night! Don't think they've ever broken America but they're huge here.

Jakes - I find it hard to fit pumping in too. Generally try whilst Rex is having happy awake time so he can occupy himself for 10 mins. But it was way easier last week as DH was home on half term hols. I need to get in a routine with it really so I can get a good stock in the freezer. Hope docs can help Amelia. x

Hi ladies, sorry I've not been posting much... been hectic! Had MIL staying for the weekend and just about to book mine and DFs wedding

I know he's only 9 weeks but I swear Toby's already getting sensitive gums. He keeps pushing his dummy/bottle to the left side of his mouth and just chewing. He's getting very niggly too... but not ALL the time. He'll have 20 minutes happy time to half an hour niggly time.

Picking up his photoshoot pictures tomorrow. Yay!!

I'm going to see take that twice in a week in July at wembley and cannot wait!!! Robbies always been my fav since ibwas 10 years old but there is something about Gary he has defo got better lookin with age!!! Lol

Cottleston could well be the beginning of teething - some start at 4 months but way before that the teeth are moving under the gums so if he is gnawing down, more so on hands and drooling LOADS that is a big sign. Jake got his first tooth at 8 months and now at 28 months he is STILL teething LOL!!

Thankyou girls for the pumping advice - never thought of doing it after a feed which also tricks the body into producing more- very clever!!! I shall try this weekend as I don;t get time in the day!

Oh wow, today Amelia woke at 7 am and didn't nap until 3 pm and I woke her at 4.30pm as I wanted to make sure she'll go to bed after her bath at 7pm - wellllll she was awake the WHOLE day and night - only went to bed at 10.30pm!!! Omg I am knackered! It is not as if she was crying either - just being damn nosey!!!! She is very nosey and cranes her neck to look around when shes on my chest..very strong neck already bless. I had some great smiles today!! In fact I'll upload one when she was on her bouncer and I called her name from a distance - as soon as the camera came up she smiled so big! Poser!

I LOVE this age!! So cute apart from the growth spurt......!!!

I don't know what Isis' problem was today but I'll just say that she's making the decision to go back to work easier...

I saw a doe nursing her fawn in our orchard this afternoon. It was so cute! The fawn was so young! I took some pictures.

Jakes, what a great picture! She's a cutie! her night schedule sounds like my LO. I pump about 30 minutes after a morning feed.

George woke up at 3, he went to bed at 10.30, so I went to warm his bottle and when I came back he was fast asleep lol. I weren't sure whether to wake him to feed or go back to sleep myself? So I decided to get him up for his feed cos I was worried something might be wrong, he still stayed asleep whist I changed his nappy but then woke up to feed. Bless him.

Toby is dribbling a lot and sometimes the only thing that stops him niggling is his fist in his mouth!

He's gone from his baby bath to the big bath this week and he's loving it! I'm still a bit hit n miss... Tonight I did it a tiny bit too deep but I'm still learning! It's made bedtime so much calmer though.
DF doesn't let me start the bedtime routine til 9 so that he gets some cuddle time but I'm going to start bringing it forward to 8. Still though, bath at 9, a top up feed, then bed. He was asleep by 10pm and started stirring at 4:30 so ive popped s bottle in his mouth and hopefully he'll want to go back to sleep rather than play!
