Omg. In an awesome turn of events, something GOOD (sort of) happened.
The twins were a nightmare last nighy and I felt like I was going to be sick so I could barely move. At 3:40am dh took the twins downstairs to let me sleep! its now almost 9am and bless him I didnt get up til 8 qnd hes been sat with the twins (and toby who was up at4) all night/morning. He doesnt sleep during the day until hes practically passing out so I feel a bit guilty but so impressed! I still feel awful... shaky, bum sicky and nauseous but at least I slept!!! Anyone know a cure for sulphur burps?

My year couldn't get any shitter, seriously. My poor poor mum. She had bladder cancer, stage 3. Devestated beyond words. I'll explain more but she can have treatment but it's so upsetting.

As for moving closer I'm working on it!
I signed up for toys for tots yesterday. We likely won't be getting any presents. We have been staying with my MIL and it isn't easy. Our dogs are in our truck. Really hoping it changes soon. We are going to start staying with my mom for a couple weeks while we get things in order for operation move.

Sam, if you guys are driving out along I-80 let me know! We live 8 miles off I-80 and have plenty if space for everyone! Patsy doesn't like other dogs but if they don't mind they can sleep in the garage.

Thankyou all. Feeling a bit more positive now, although the big "C" scares the shit out of me, the specialists that will be looking after her are the best. The royal mars den will be caring for her, and we will take each week as it comes. I feel like running away some days! Then I get a grip. You are all wonderful. So dhs good samaritan thing only lasted a day. Ive got a d&v thing on top of catching their cold... basically from being run down and exhausted after looking after everyone else.
Everything is going straight through me so ive not kept fluids in for over 24hrs now. Im weak and dehydrated. My body keeps cramping, tmi but my bum is in spasm from going too much. Im in so much pain. Not once has dh asked if I need anytging or if he can do anuthing to help. He just left me alone to deal with the twins last night and had a moan at me this morning for not having the energy to get out of bed to fetch the ipad when he was at the end of the bed and the ipad was 5ft away from him. Hes now left the twins on the bed with me so I can get them dressed even though hes perfectly capable and I can barely keep my eyes open. I just want someone to pretend to be a little bit bothered that im feeling this bad after I spent the entire week being concerned for everyone else whos been ill.

Oh Cottles! I really hope you speak up! I can't imagine you being in that position. You might need to go to the hospital for an IV. Really it would do you some good. I don't hesitate anymore when I end up not being able to keep things down. I feel like it makes everything stop quicker. So sory sweety. Tell that guy to help. Tell him you aren't capable and to man up.

Jakes- I'm glad to hear your mom has the best looking after her!

We are getting so much closer to leaving. Still going to be maybe 3 weeks but we sold our car yesterday and we are going to put ALL that money (only $900 lol) into our truck maintenance so it is ready for the long treck. It needs some love.
We are driving. I think we might splurge on some good tires and go the north route because I've never driven north. If we do I would LOVE to meet up with you girls!!! Danielle- I had mentioned it to DH last night and he was like YOU WANT ME TO STAY WITH STRANGERS?!! WHAT PART OF MY ANXIETY DONT YOU UNDERSTAND?! lol smh But we could definitely meet up!

Thankyou they looked after my dad with palliative care. The Macmillan nurses don't get as much recognition as they should!!

ION, I just braved Sainsburys I the last Saturday afternoon before Xmas. Wasn't as bad as I anticipated But at least we have all our Christmas dinner sorted. The last of the pressures are bought and my hip is fucking killing me! Ha!

So girls let's work this out. We are planning on taking the 80 over and staying 2 nights in Minnesota. My cousin lives in St. Paul. Danielle we can stop by and see you before driving up that way? Do lunch and a play date or something?
