Gem, i'd agree with Jen's suggestions (also being in health care), sounds good otherwise! just try and remeber you deserve as much as the next person to have the chance to do the course (just felt in one or 2 places you sounded a little underconfident, but think jen's already reworded those bits a bit). took alex to parent and baby aquafit today , he loved it but has been super tired since bless him lol.

thank you everyone for your support, prayers and thoughts! One bright spot from this tragedy is his family decided to donate his organs so others will get the chance to live longer, fuller lives. Our site is closing down on Thursday so everyone can go to the funeral. That church will be packed. He was 34 and had been working here for 20 years!

Jen - I started operation yummy mummy today! Started running again. Well, the walk-run technique really so I can build back up to doing 10k again. Had to get a new sports bra. Mine were going nowhere near me! lol I'm joining weight watchers on Thurs too. Need someone to weigh me. I'm so scared what I'll weigh. I know it's the most I've ever been though! We can do it!

Cottles - I'm going to copy you & get a weight loss ticker once I know how much I've got to lose. Well done on losing over 2 stone!

Mrs C - don't leave us for too long! Ignore the horrible cowbags who have said things to you. I hate militant BFers! Yes I BF but Rex now has a bottle of formula at his late feed just so I can get a little bit of sleep. And once he's on 3 meals a day I'll be replacing BFs with formula so I can feel like me again.

Babybefore - I know exactly how you feel! I can't wait to have my body back & be able to wear underwired bras again! I said to DH that I want a ceremonial burning of the breast pump when I'm finished BFing ! lol

Ugh. Anyone else worried about these riots? I'm just south of London (Kent) and I know there's at least one of other April Mummy who is nearby (Surrey?)
I've got friends and family in affected areas. Such a worry. And right now, I'm so ashamed to call myself a Londoner. Lived in/around London my whole life and this is disgusting.

Sazzle, so jealous of your running! I hope they fix my hip so I can run again. I bought new running shorts in hope that I can start soon. I just keep reminding myself that it's just a short period of time in the grand scheme of things.

I'm up north, Cottles, but it really worries me. It's very apocalyptic. Scary. I've heard there were riots in Birmingham today too & I know a few April mummies live that way. I hope they get the army or something in to sort it out.

Danielle - don't be jealous of the running cos there really wasn't that much running today! I haven't done any exercise since before Christmas! So there was way more walking! Will have to build back up nice & slowly.

Oh we are near the riots.. Closest to us is 5 mile away but our town has been put on alert as the next place. We too used to live above a shop in main high street. I'm a 10 min walk from town centre .. Eek! I have lots of friends/family in London. Feel ashamed and so sad. My stepdad is ealing and has a business there. We don't yet know if it's been affected

a yummy mummy is a glamorous, gorgoeus happy mummy! I am happy but need to work on the other two bits with some exercise and dieting

salzzle I am doing slimming world as I prefer not having to weigh things out like in weightwatchers. Had my weigh in last night and only lost 1 1/2 lbs this week, I am really disappointed by this as thought the first week would be a big loss especailly as I have really stuck to it. But I guess its more than I would have lost without doing it.

Danielle that is amazing about the family of your colleague donating all his organs, such a brave decision, they can be so proud
