April Mummies... 25 DAYS!!!..

I have just started stripping the nursery, im not due til the end of April but realise im leaving it a little late. Plus its hard to strip wallpaper when your 7 months preggers. I havent been lazy but I had to decorate the spare room to move my daughter into it before i could start her old rooms transformation.

I can't believe how close it's getting!! Plus, mine might be coming sooner.

Ooo final 4 weeks!! Or even three weeks if little man stays breech and I need a section!!

I have my growth/presentation scan today at 9am, hubby was up at 4.30am to go to work & I've been up since then, for the 2nd night running I'm too nervous to sleep :-( Zzz sooo tired!!

I still cannot believe how quick time has flown, no doubt after I finish work next Saturday it will slow down but at least I'll get everything done!

xXx

Hubby started clearing out and painting what will be the nursery today!! Very exciting!

I also had the day off work (because I'm working sunday) and spent the day with my mummy friends who are on maternity leave and I'm getting very aware now that it'll be me on maternity leave in a few weeks and have my baby next month!

i love getting everything ready for the baby.. makes the waiting time a lil quicker :D .. keeps me occupied for a while haha..

Cant wait till april!!! :D so exciting.. even tho im scared at the same time!! wooooohoooooo!!!! xx

Ahh how exciting Alanna! :D
And then when hes here therell be no more SPD pain will there? :)

My Ollie keeps kicking under my shingles rash and Im in agony with it atm! I keep giving him a little poke to try and get him to shift over a bit but it just makes him kick more! Little buggar haha.

Wooo scan went so well, baby is head down YAY! and his head is well down in my pelvis so much so the sonographer couldn't get a head measurement! (so much for the midwife saying he was completely free) I have had loads of pressure today, going to the loo all the time and lots of lovely cervix pains :happydance:

I'm currently sat on my ball after having a mammoth nesting session in my kitchen, literally had my head in my oven scrubbing away

Really really cannot wait to meet our little man now, even though he can hang on for another couple of weeks so I can finish getting everything done!

xXx

Ive noticed alot of ladies drinking this.. I live in the US I wonder if its hard to get here? Ive never heard anyone mention it before this forum...might have to make some calls around and see if I could find some, im curious! haha

Glad baby is head down queen!!

Great news Queen!!

Nullaby I was wondering the same thing about the rasberry tea...Can any of you Uk ladies explain what it does for me?? Thank you

I live in the US and my friend has ordered raspberry tea online before. She used it to bring on her period, and I've heard that it's supposed to induce contractions naturally for the same reason. But I'm not 100% on the details.

Very good news, queen!! My baby is head down now as well, which is good as the doctors keep saying I'm going to be induced early. Apparently, as soon as I start dilating?? Though, who knows when that will be.

What is this tea thing?! o_O
Ive never heard of or seen that type of tea before coming on these forums...
Whats it supposed to do?

Raspberry Leaf Tea has been known to induce contractions and produce shorter labours in those who take it in the few weeks before their due date. It is NOT recommended before 32 weeks, and definitely not in the first trimester (which we're all beyond anyway), as it can induce a miscarriage.

I was wondering about the tea as well. For those that know about it in the US, where do you buy it? And when do we start drinking it exactly?

And does anyone know about EPO?

Wal-Mart carries it in the pharmacy section. That's where I got mine when I wasn't pregnant.
