I am going to asda today to get Sophie some baby rice - which do you recommend? I have no idea!?

i was looking in asda didnt have a clue what to get but the back of the cow and gate one said just right for Alex so got that one!!!

emily hates the boring stuff lol
she wont eat rice so we're on jars too

sign up on bounty website maybe. I got a "you and your newborn" book in the hospital bags and the voucher was in there to take to asda or boots. Got juice, 2 jars, 3 packets dry cereal, spoon, comfort, 2x persil powder, books, vouchers, fruit pot, cif mini spray

Just tried Sophie on Baby Rice, She was not impressed LOL!
Might try again at the weekend.

Just rewarding her with some nappy off time, she is kicking away quite happily now!

first night layla was like "wtf is this>">!>!" from then on had a spoon every night for last 2 weeks, she opens her mouth for it now!

GOIng to try creamed porridge tonight cos im bored of rice lol. still only a spoon tho!

Jenny did i read emily had spag bol the other day? Im just like when how what where! wouldnt think i worked with babies for last 2 1/2 years lol!

have you tried the stuff its rank!
tastes like cardboard

i got some fruity porridge/cereal
stuff exactly the same but tastes nice
not that i've tried these things

Hi peeps!

All you on the weaning how are you going about it?

ATM I give Leo milk at around 7/8 am then he has breakfast about 9 ish. Then bottle for dinner about 12/1 and then he has bottle again around 5 and food about 6/6.30

I want to start giving him dinner but if i did this I may aswell feed him all day lol!

How are you girls doing it?

Jenny did i read emily had spag bol the other day? Im just like when how what where! wouldnt think i worked with babies for last 2 1/2 years lol!

yea she loooved it ...
i got a couple of jars because she was
getting through loads of cereal and she was still
hungry jars seem to fill her up a bit more

she has half a jar a day, just starting by getting
her used to a few different tastes before we start
breakfast lunch and dinner

she doesn't drink alot of milk in one go but she'll have
two 5oz bottles within 3 or 4 hours of eachother
she sort of snack eats the bugger so i tried dried food
and she ate that as well as the bottles but
the jars seem to make her drink less milk

ive just said this to OH lol! when she's ready for more food, and if i did it inbetween bottles, i wouldnt be able to go anywhere! constant feeding!

she's just on rice at bedtime atm

i'm just doing lunch at 12.30 and dinner at 5.30
roughly depending on her naps and when she
wakes up

i only started on jars on friday but so far
so good she seems to love the meaty ones
and she's sleeping longer too
