***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

Oh fab news franiss! I hope things progress quickly for you.

Congratulations Rozie_1985 and Lollypod!

Well midwife has brought her appointment with me an hour and a half early so now I have about 20 minutes to clean my lounge and kitchen! (I hate having an untidy house with visitors). Fingers crossed the sweep works for me please girls!

I was thinking about you yesterday. Good luck on your sweep. I have my fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations lollypod! It seems alot of babies hang on until the very last minute lol. My cervix was still closed high and thick yesterday so looks like I won't be going into labour Naturally :( xx

Hi ladies

Harry Jay entered the world by emergency c-section at 00:11 on Monday 3 May. Section given due to failure to progress. SPD seems to have disappeared. He's BFing like a pro and weighed in at 8lb. Will get round to a proper birth story soon but contractions had been going on for 26 hours, I had been up for 32 hours and established labour had been 6.5 hours and only dialated by an extra 1cm when they took the decision to operate. One good thing about having an emergency section was my private medical insurance through work will reimburse us the cost of the private room! :happydance: I am so glad we got one, would definately recomend it and will have one next time!

MRSWRAGGLE:

I just want to say that I hope today went well and that your induction goes well too!

Can't wait to see pics of your lo in his/her bedroom :D

Nicola xx

Congrats to all you new mommies!! I cant wait to update next week and say we have our little guy!

Congratulations MrsGlitz!!
Look at your handsome Harry!! He is just beautiful - and well worth the wait!

I've had my little man. Luke Stephen was born on the 4th may at 12.48 pm after an incredibly short 8 hour labour. He weighs 7lbs6 and is gorgeous! I'm recovering well after 7 stitches to labial, internal vaginal and apex(idk what that means) tears. Birth story and pics to come probably later today. I'm so in love with this little guy!

Congratulations mummy2b17.ouch! that's a lot of tearing you got.I must admit I was extremley jealous when I heard you went into labour cos we had been talking the day before about being scared about being induced! Unfortunately its induction day today for me as this stubborn little baby still hasint made an appearance! Xx

Congratulations mummy2b17! You must be so pleased to have had Luke. Another one here looking likely for induction tomorrow unless a miracle happens today! Can't wait to see pictures of him!

Congratulations to all new April mums and best wishes for those due to be induced. Hope everyone is keeping well :)

Little Jessica is doing really well now. She's breastfeeding well, but does seem to be being sick/bringing up excess milk quite a bit..

Ran out of painkillers this morning, so going to wait for midwife to call later and ask her for a repeat prescription :)

So, going by the theory that you're only allowed to go 14 days over, am I right in saying that all of our April babies should be here in the next week-10 days?
