i cant believe im still here!! 8 days overdue now...got my stretch and sweep today and will get an induction date for next week if nothing happens....losing hope anything is going to happen naturally!! Fingers crossed it works today....otherwise im going to be the last one left!!!

Well midwife has brought her appointment with me an hour and a half early so now I have about 20 minutes to clean my lounge and kitchen! (I hate having an untidy house with visitors). Fingers crossed the sweep works for me please girls!

Ooh I hope it goes ok Mrsraggle and gets something going for you. I've got another MW check up this afternoon, I think will just be the usual BP, urine checks etc. so I really don't think anything more will be done to me.

Midwife did a sweep this time. Cervix is more anterior today and soft (was posterior and firm before). It's a little shorter 1-2cm (was 2cm before), the external OS is 1-2cm (was 1cm before) and the internal OS is definitely open but she couldn't reach in for all the wriggling about in pain I was doing! (was closed before).

My urine showed ++ protein but as my BP is perfect and I've shown no signs of a UTI she's not worried about it.

She didn't say it outright but she talked about how much more responsive I would be now if it goes to induction on Saturday blah blah but she said it in such a way that made me think that she thinks that I'll probably end up being induced.

So there you go! Just got to get through tomorrow and Friday now!
