Yeah I know that's the thing I'm scared about too if I'm honest, thing is I'm not even going in untill visiting time is over! But I think that he can stay with me untill I've had the tablet or the gel and then he has to go home till I'm in established labour or visiting time next day I think. I hate hospitals, and I'm so scared of being in all that pain on my own, I'm hoping that even if I do have to be induced that I've dialated enough not to need the pessary and they can just break my waters and hook me up to the iv but somehow I doubt this highly!!

I don't even know what time I'm going in! I'm seeing my useless mw tommorow so I'll ask her then. I dare say I'll have to ring up on the Thursday morning to see if there busy or not xx

I had to be induced with my 1st and if it helps I'm not frightened about it this time so can't have been too awful, I'm just really disapponted iv not gone into labour naturally on my own.

Guys - you're both leaving me on Thursday!! I'll be sat here talking to myself until Saturday morning! I have to call up at 7.30am on Saturday morning to ask when to go in, if they're busy then I might not go in at all

Anyway, I'm still here - still no more progress.

Congrats Minstermind and MrsGlitz!! Sorry the epidural didn't take Minstermind That would have irritated me to no end, especially with the contractions and you thinking that you won't feel much of them after!

mummy2b17 and xbabybumpx, I hope you don't make it to your inductions! However, it wasn't as bad as what I thought it was going to be, so if you make yours then it probably won't be as bad as what you think either!

I'm sending you guys all labor dust though!

I'm scared about going into hospital on Friday too. It's the whole 'not being in my own house' and being on my own. I am convinced that even an induction won't do anything and I will end up having a c-section. I shouldn't think like this, but I can't help it.
Don't worry Mrsraggle, I'll still be here at this rate!

I find some comfort in that we are all in the same boat and we will have our babies by the end if this week xx

ah girlies ano its easier said than done but dont worry too much about being induced you will be fine and once you have your baby at the end of it..how you got there really does go out the window

More good luck and labour dust to those of you still waiting. I was induced with Freya, and it really wasn't that scary... although, I didn't have anything to compare it with... Hmmm...
It doesn't matter though. What matters is that however it happens, at the end of it you will have your baby to cuddle and enjoy. And none of you have very long to wait now.

I do hope you're all going to still hang out with us in Baby Club, and not move over to a May thread instead!

I'm still doing OK. Ollie slept really well last night. He still woke up twice, but I think the second time I picked him up too soon and he probably would have just settled for another hour or so. Hopefully he'll be a good sleeper just like his sister!
I did the trip to preschool myself this morning - first time since Ollie was born. It'd be easy if I had a car to use, but we managed OK on the bus. I took Ollie in the Connecta carrier, and he slept all the way. Perfect.

i'm so frustrated....baby still showing no signs of moving...got a stretch and sweep tommorow. Am now 1 week overdue...anyone know what else they do at this appointment?? Will they discuss inducing me the following week if nothing else has happened???

They should book you in for an induction at that appointment too.

I'm 4 days late now...got sweep tomorrow at home...hope it works.
I dont want to wait too long for an induction if the sweep fails, hope they dont make it next week, hope its before the end of this week.

I was due 30th april so im now 4 days over,midwife came out but was unable to do a sweep as the baby is still not engaged aaarrrggh.Soo, she is coming to check again on monday but also phoned and booked my induction for the 14th,the absolute latest it can be left till! Im feeling a bit disappointed now I really wanted to avoid induction if I could
