awww we made it...its wrong this has brought tears to my eyes isnt it!

o well let the parenting begin lol n we thought the 9 months of pregnancy were scary xxx

Congratulations to all the new mommies! So glad to get back on here and catch up...looks like it's still a waiting game for some of you. Not long now, it can only be a matter of some days really! (I know that doesn't help when the clock seems to have slowed to a crawl lol).

I'm back in the game here now after a few days of not really being able to put Tiernan down very much. He did have a couple of evenings of trapped gas and I'm still trying to get him burped properly every time he feeds, but it doesn't seem to work part of the time as he falls asleep on the boob and even if I put him up to burp him, sometimes nothing comes out. So I'm working on that part of things. Nipples are sore but today one of them is starting to feel ok.

I'm watching out for those of you still left and sending you happy and speedy labor dust!

If you find a soloution for that please let me know! Gabriella keeps falling asleep while feeding and then won't burp

my health visitors have told me that breast fed babies dont really need winding?? i only do it if Amber doesnt fall asleep? xx

I was told almost the same thing, they aren't as gassy so don't need to be burped much. Also that it usually doesn't take much for them to belch, such as just lifting them upright sometimes. I've no clue as sometimes I have to pat Duncan's back to get him to burp...other times he lets them out nice and loud!

Ruby is a very very windy baby, so was my son and both breastfed so I don't think much truth in that x

it almost feels like me graduated. It is a little bit sad however I'm very thankful that I'm not pregnant anymore

Yeah, it's one of the ways in which we move from one stage to another, lol..it's the small things that can make us sentimental. I actually got a bit sentimental when baby's cord finally came off, lol

lol i did 2...had to actually get my hubs to put the bloody bit in the bin and we kept the wee clamp bit..i mustve been having an extra emotional day that day

Kinleigh slept through the night for the first time. 1am to 7am. Mommy was excited but mommy's boobies were a little upset.

Speaking of Boobies. My husband and I went out to lunch today for our 6 year wedding anniversary. Right before we got up to leave I notice a wet spot on my pants. I thought I spilled some of my drink on me. When I straighten my back I notice that I had milk pouring out of my shirt. It was so noticeable that it was my milk too. I had to use the diaper bag to cover my boob. Then when I got to the car to look for my breast pads I realized that I was out of them. I had to use a regular pad, I folded it and put them in my bra driving down the road. This is the first time that I have ever leaked like that.

Lol, boob leaking... I have to wear those breast pads cause sometimes just hearing a baby cry can make me start leaking..

Got the chills out of the blue last night and went to bed all bundled up. Don't know where that came from and I was also very emotional and felt achey and crap. Baby T decided to spend most the night in ''unsettled sleep'' so I didn't get much sleep either. In the middle of the night I woke in a heap of sweat and was really hot, and now today I feel ok. Strange one. Heading off to bed with baby now as he seems to be in a settled sleep at the moment.

I'm doing OK. I'm past the worst of the emotions and hormones now I hope and feel much more like me. Just a very tired version of me. I'm so grateful hubby is doing 50% of everything and dreading him going back to work.

Things here are good. We are suppose to close on the house we are buying Friday. But the way things are looking it might be another week. The bank is driving me crazy with all the paper work that they need. Kinleigh had a follow up appointment today with Children's Hospital and the doctor said that she is doing great. I'm extremely tired it doesn't matter if I sleep 2 hours or 12 hours I'm equally as tired. I'll be glad when she sleeps through the night on a regular basis.

It was a one time deal. The very next night she was up from midnight to 530am. Slept for a hour and was back up. Thank goodness my MIL was here because she took care of her while I slept a little bit.

I have no idea why my boobs have been leaking like they have. It is super funny. It happened again yesterday when I ran to the store. The sad thing was I was wearing breast pads and I still managed to leak through. Lucky for me I was wearing a black shirt so you really could not tell that it was there.

Hope your house deal closes sooner than later..can't imagine having to deal with a lot of anything else besides baby, I swear. Just going to do the weekly shopping seems like such a big deal, lol..

MrsRaggle, glad to hear your hormones are getting back to normal. I found even last night that I had a touch of them come on me. I think it can be exacerbated by lack of sleep too, surely. I'm pretty grateful that baby T seems to be -mostly- a night baby. He does wake at times around 4:30am and is up for a couple of hours, more like in an ''unsettled sleep'' rather than awake...which still means I'm up as unsettled sleep means he wants to be held and whatnot, lol
