Glad the cyst is ok Sabriena

Well I've not been weighed in about 2-3 weeks and am too scared to. I'd only put on 5lbs so far so was feeling really chuffed with myself. I'm far too petrified to look but might be brave in another week or so.

I'm still awaiting the nesting instinct to kick in. Maternity leave is just too busy to nest at the moment :rofl: Maybe friday afternoon I might give it a bash
 
my nestling has defo kicked in!! but we're moving house and the house is getting done up at the moment so we havnt even moved in yet and i cannot WAIT to do up her room!! i already have all her clothes hangin up all clean at my parents but i just cant wait to perfect everything!!! xx

I wish my nesting would kick in too, I've really got to get cleaning but by the time I think about it I just don't want to do it! haha Hopefully it'll kick in for us soon though!
 
I have my days when I go mad and clean everywhere, but I've been poorly with a cold this week so me and the sofa have been best friends!
 
I'm definitely nesting! In the past week I've moved all the furniture around, been tidying and throwing away uneeded items. Bought and organised all the things I'm gonna need for the baby - washed and organised the baby's clothes - and I put the cot up last night. I'm trying not to overwork myself but I cant sit there without doing anything, its so weird because it really didn't hit me until the middle of last month and now its bad!

Funnily enough the only thing I haven't actually done is pack a hospital bag! lol
 
I keep hoping the nesting thing will kick in the place is a pig sty!!

Got some good news today - OH got a job! He's going to be a postie, which will suit him no end. The hours work out perfectly for us, and he'll get to spend loads more time riding bikes. Then, of course, there's the added benefit of a pay cheque!! :happydance:
Has certainly eased a lot of my stress. We might just make it thru my maternity leave now!

I also don't have a clue how much weight I've put on... I don't know how much I weighed pre-pregnancy, or now... I have definitely noticed my arse has got bigger though! :rofl:

It's been a lot warmer here the last week or so (finally we get summer - now that it's autumn!) and I've been finding my hands and feet are swelling a lot more than usual. I'll talk to my mw about it tomorrow, but I really do think it's the heat. I've had to take my wedding ring off because it's been getting really uncomfortable and the other day I really struggled to remove it!
 
I had my 34 week check up today. I am 1.5cm dilated and 40% effaced. Baby is head down and SUPER low. The dr felt his head through my cervix during the exam. I have an ultrasound on Friday to check my fluid levels since my last pregnancy I had dangerously low fluid and thsi time around it has been borderline. So far so good and chance are I'll have a baby in 3 weeks time at 37 weeks! (2 of my 3 kids were 37 weekers so i have a strong feeling thsi one will be also)

wow.. good luck!! Is it common to start dilating so early when it's not your first baby? I'm on baby number 5 and worried he/she will come early. Altho my others didn't and were a day or two late. x

my nesting has very much set in tho im always a bit of a clean freak but im trying my hardest to get in cupboards and things haha everytime hubs comes home he freaks out cause im climbling outta places i shouldnt be able to fit in haha

whosthatgirl..sounds like it wont be long til you meet your little man im very jealous i had my 34 week check on tuesday and tho baby is head down hes not engaged yet so ive been having words with him lol i really want to meet him!

I could really do with nesting too, but I feel far too tired most of the time that little really gets done. Though the last time the only nesting I did was around 5am the morning DD was actually born so maybe not doing it is a sign lol

Im coming to the end of it now as Im due on the first and Im starting to get a little fed up now. A lot of aches and pains etc. Apparently its normal to feel this way towards the end?? I wouldnt know as its my first :) Cant wait for LO to arrive though. Im feling organised. Everything all sorted and hospital bag all packed. Nursery all beautifully decorated :happydance: Its been very a very smooth pregnancy according to the midwife and I love my little bump.
And a few others have mentioned the nesting... ive gone into over drive... I think I may have slight OCD lol

Nesting has kicked in for me. I have been cleaning house for the past two days and I'm still feel that I'm not done.

In other news I have 3 weeks until Kinleigh is here. I'm so ready.
 
I've had days where I clean like crazy and other days where I just wanna lay on the couch. I'm sure it'll kick in more as time goes by!
 
Yeah, it's been feast or famine for me, too..lol...I go on spurts then I'm wrecked for a few days.

I have a painting commission I got back when I first found out I was pregnant and I still haven't finished it, and I'm feeling the pressure now to get it done before baby is born. I just haven't wanted to paint since I got pregnant. No particular reason though discovering BnB has eaten away a lot of hours of my time, haha.

Speaking of, I thought I'd post a pregnancy painting I did last year. I once posted it in the first trimester forum but it's been awhile and think it's actually more relevant now as the lady in the painting has a big 'ole bump now like ourselves. :)

Im feeling really sick :( i have been all day to be honest... does anyone else find this? Ive not really felt any sickness at all through my pregnancy but today has been quite awful.

your welcome. I have days like that. I actually had a pretty easy pregnancy with very little morning sickness but lately I get that sick feeling.
