LOL....twice I've went to an appointment to find out I had the wrong day or the wrong week...never done that sort of thing before I was pregnant! heh
 
Hi girls. I hope we're all well?
Just wondered if anyone else is getting really strong braxton hicks. Mine are getting bad and can even feel a dragging feeling in my back with some of them. Hope my LO is not wanting to make an early appearance. I'm not ready! lol xx
 
I've had no BH's at all. Just lots of cramping which lasts about 30 seconds. Am wondering if I'll ever have any BHs
 
I've had some pretty strong BH contractions...mostly in the evening after working all day. Last night I tried to relax with a heating pad on my back and they seemed to ease up :)
 
yup count me in with the bh contractions...
they started from the 5th month but i was getting them alot more often from 28 weeks ...
sometimes i would get them 5-6 times in one hour i have no idea how many times it would happen in a day... they would last for a good 30-40 sec each ..
i told my doctor about them and he put me on pills to stop them ... saying that 8 a day is the maximum and it shouldnt happen more than that....i still get them but now they are more like 8-10 times a day and only last about 15 sec each time... i think all the stress at work is doing this to me ...:cry:
i just hope im not rushing my little girl to come sooner ...i know she is not ready yet ...:nope:....
i will know whats going on probably monday on my next appointment
i pray that i hear that everything is just perfect and finally get my c-section date....
i cant wait to get a date!! :happydance:
 
I *think* I might have had one yesterday, though I'm not sure as it felt like it was coming from the womb but at the same time sorta felt like the stomach when it doesn't react well to a certain food, LOL...so hard to say.
 
I think I might have had one BH... At least I had a weird sensation where my belly went hard for about a minute :shrug: Having never been in labour I'm not all that sure, but my mum had said that is what her's had felt like...

Mommyof3girls: I got my c-section date at 28 weeks when they told me I'd need one...
 
Hi, I think Im a little late joining the site but Ive only recently come cross it. Im actually due April 1st and im team yellow with my first baby :) Im really excited!!
 
im not sure i joined this thread anyways im expecting our 1st baby on the 12th of april and hes a boy! xx
 
I don't think I've had any BH yet...or anything I can constitute being one since I've no clue what they feel like!

The ultrasound yesterday went great, the cyst is gone as far as they can tell. That means I get no more ultrasounds though :( Boo! He's still a boy...or as the doctor joked, could be a girl with testicles. I sure hope not!

Has these past couple days seem to go fast for anyone else? It felt like the last couple days of February dragged a bit (I think because I was excited to say I'm due next month) and now it's going fast again!

It must be a sign that I really have to get my stuff together and get mine and LO's hospital bag packed!

Lol, same here. I think it depends on my state of mind as some days seem to drag but others fly by. It's definitely moving along a bit faster than it seemed to during the first trimester. I too need to get the bag packed and whatnot. I haven't lifted a finger to do anything whatsoever baby-related until the last few days, where I've been going through a couple of long-neglected cabinets and whatnot to make space for baby things, lol.

Luckily I've got all the big stuff secondhand so that's not a worry. Just have to go pick it up which I haven't got around to doing either..plan to sort it all over the next few weeks anyway.
 
hi ladies just wanted to say hope all ya pregnancys are goin well, god im getting fed up now just want these final weeks to pass but they sooo slow, got stratch marks come this week and have put on 3 stone freel like a cow lol, anyways, good luck all xxxx

hows everyone coping xx

Sabriena: He'd not be laughing for long if he was right :winkwink: Its brilliant news about the cyst, and I'm sure those last 50 days are going to fly in! Can you believe you've got exactly 50 days left?! :yipee:

I didn't know they could give you tablets to stop bh's? I worry that I'm starting to dilate slowly because some of them are soooooo painful and I can feel LO pushing right down low with it's head with them.

I'm with ya on the cow thing. I was 8 stone pre pregnant. I'm now 11 stone 6 pounds and still putting on 1-2 pounds a week. Ah well. It should all come back off.... eventually! :wacko:
