Midwife's just left after our birth preferences home visit. Baby is now three to four fifths engaged so there's progress. So I'm ready now - bag's packed, birth preferences complete, baby just needs to come out now please!

I am so bored and fed up I just had a little cry; pathetic! I need my hair done and not one of the 5 salons which can be seen from my lounge window had availability today.

I need to pop up to Somerfield for dinner but I have no idea what to get. Can't wait until we finally get a fridge freezer again and can do a weekly shop so I don't have to think!

I havent been on here too much but today I feel like asking....is it just me or is it starting to get really hard? My due date is April 26th and I feel Shocking!!!

YES. haha! This past week has been the most uncomfortable for me yet, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Makes me wonder what the hell i could possibly have been moaning about a couple months ago!

I know I cant actually believe how uncomfortable I am, making me just want to cry, the baby is really active too more so than ever!! Finding it hard to relax too, its all going to be worth it though.. How long do you have left?

Ive got a week left today, yippeeee, i love telling people im due in a week, it gives me a false sense of hope haha...but induction on 1st may if i end up going 2 weeks overdue! Bet i end up having a may baby hehe. Been having lots more pains and things so hopefully SOMETHING will happen in the next 3 weeks! Aww, at least you can be thankful for a nice active baby who doesnt worry you! Mine is a lazy toad sometimes! Hope you're feeling a bit more comfortable today, at least you know its not long for you now, wahoo! xx

On another note...cant believe how many births there have been so far! Congrats to all the new mummys. Hope everyone else sitting around playing the waiting game are feeling ok!

I just woke up not too long ago so I have to grab something to eat and hoping my back stays feeling decent today! Other than that, feeling good..of course later tonight will be another story haha

I'm still feeling grim with the Crohn's relapse, so I'm just going to spend the day in my PJs

Mo's also feeling miserable, he's got a really bad toothache; I got him some Solphadine Max, but they aren't helping Poor boy. But, even though he's miserable he got me a Magnum ice cream from the shop across the road to cheer me up!

I got my Moby wrap in the post too which I'm happy about, though it is difficult to practice without an actual baby to put in it!

I still haven't packed my bag for the hospital, and I've only got 12 days to go now!

i have been having horrendous back ache from 5pm last night i spoke to a friend who is a midwife and she said it sounds like back labour and to sit on a towel and be prepared for my waters to break....woke up this morning in agony STILL had a cry to my OH who for once actually looked after me and made me a cup of tea in bed! i was in utter shock!! i managed to sleep a bit more and after getting up and ready etc the pain has just seemed to have gone - which im a bit disapointed about becuase i was actually thinking that i might have my baby this weekend xx

I popped out and got the accessories for my bathroom and paint for the lounge. DH has informed me he is finishing early tonight and I am very excited because it means I will ask him to paint the second coat of paint in the bathroom so we can finish it! When did I get so excited by decorating?!

Does anyone else feel like they don't really know anyone in this section any more (except this thread!)?! All of a sudden in the last week it feels like a totally new place! I wish I wasn't due at the end of the month - everyone will have moved onto Baby Club by the time my baby rears his/her head!!

Yeah, I get that sometimes too. A good few of the ladies I'd been used to seeing around through the pregnancy have had their babies, and there's just a handful or so left now.

Yay for decorating MrsGlitz! I totally think it's a nesting thing kicking into gear.

I still have like two things to pack in my hospital bag but for all intents and purposes I'm ready to go should something happen.

I'm starting to get bored of waiting now. Been patient and happy the whole time so it's a new sensation for me now - kind of like waiting for the pot to boil, haha.

This is the first I've been reading this thread, didn't realise so many April Sweetpeas chatted here! Good to see theres been 45 births already hope it'll not be long til its our turn ladies!

I'm due in 2 weeks..YAY! But feeling very fed up & feel like I'm never goin to meet her! Even though I've had a child before this still feels soo surreal to me, I dont think I'll know whats hit me till I hold her in my arms...CAN'T WAIT!! I'm really hoping for a VBAC, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to spot any other successful VBAC ladies

Good Luck with vbac hun, providing you don't have to be induced I think there's a real good chance of vbac. Even with induction it's possible but obviously has t be closer monitered!

Yeah, I think it is because it is our month though

I think it was bound to happen because when we came through the place was filled with late January, February, & March mummies, and obviously they've gone now (except maybe the odd really overdue March mum!)

What is nice is that I'm seeing the odd old face I knew from TTC, but yeah, mostly it is all new folk!

What feels really crazy is now being about to answer all the questions that I had posted when I first came through to 3rd tri! We're all such old hands at the 3rd tri symptoms now!

Third tri has whizzed by for me. I think each trimester has moved a little bit faster than the previous. Although these last two (four) weeks feel like they are going to D-R-A-G. It is nice being an old hand at everything - I like to pop back through the trimesters and offer advice if I'm able!

Soon we'll be the new girls in Baby Club!

The entire pregnancy has whizzed by for me, except for the first 12 weeks until my NT scan, then I got put forward a week! I think because I have been off sick since 12 January, I haven't had the usual 'slow down' people get once their maternity leave starts.

We got the bathroom finished tonight then popped up to our best friends, who live up the road now (£3.50 taxi fare). Got there just after 7 and I wanted to leave by 10.30! Thankfully she has two little ones so understands the tiredness of late pregnancy!

I have come down with a cold and hayfever which have woken me up after just 3 hours sleep. I feel like death. Although waking at this ridiculous hour and trying to get up and about for a drink (for my throat), tissues (for my nose) and painkillers (for my SPD) has made me realise we urgently need to sort out the lamp or nightlight situation; I have no chance of feeding otherwise, it's pitch black in our bedroom, probably how I have been sleeping so well mostly!

I agree, 3rd trimester went SO FAST!!

I'm due in 3 days and being induced in 2 days. REALLY can't believe I'm still pregnant, The Dr, Me, everyone was SURE this baby was going to make his apperance by 37 weeks. But Nope! Here I am.. big and round still! LOL

Congrats to the April moms who have delivered! Can't wait to make my announcment!

Wow one week!!! Thats so exciting!! I had a baby shower yesterday with friends and family which was lovely cheered me up! Yes the baby is so active I rang triage the other night as I was worried it was trying to get out hahaha!! Hopefully these pains indicate things are moving along! Take care and keep me posted!
