It really is so great to be in the final stretch of pregnancy. I remember being back in first trimester and just wringing my hands over hoping that I would make it through the ''danger zone'' lol... then getting past that into second trimester and finally feeling better but not quite believing myself I would make it all the way here! It's been fantastic, I'm really amazed at the whole process. It's the second and last time I'll ever feel this way and I'm enjoying every moment while it lasts. At the same time, these last few weeks are really grinding to a crawl in my perception, haha

I feel like utter rubbish today. I have a sore throat that feels like sandpaper, runny nose, streaming eyes, sneezes, coughs, sinus headache all on top of general late pregnancy aches and my SPD is horrid too on account of getting up lots last night. I am going in for a sweep tomorrow and if favourable am meant to be given a date and time for induction, I am assuming this won't happen if I still feel so pants!

I had my beautiful baby (((BOY))) on April 1st 2010~**

NAME: (((Zayne))) Andru

WEIGHT: 7 lbs 6.8 oz
LENGTH: 19 inches

I wasn't due until April 15th (2 weeks early)~*

Labor went great, Zayne was in the NICU for 5 days due to a fast birth
and maybe breathing in ammniotic fluid....they were monitoring his breathing and checking to see if his lungs cultures came back clear, which they did... He is a healthy, lively, non-stop eating baby boy!!!!!!

I will try to post a birth story tomorrow on here and the Birth Story section, as I will be having company all day today!

We love him so much!!!

YAY congrats to new mums on their safe arrivals, and mommyof4 girls, I hope Kinleigh is doing well and infection clearing up!

Well I've posted a few things in the 2ww thread, lol not sure what my bodys doing tbh. BUT whatever it is it's not in labour!
I've had a cold and sore throat these last few days and was wondering if it was hayfever cos my eyes were also all ithcy and been sleeping with window open for last week. I'm ok in the day now it's just at night my nose gets runny again and by the time I wake up my throat feels like has a rock in it, but it clears up afte brekkie!
I thought I was having pain every 20 min but now am not so sure, have kinda lost count and think the pains must have died off! UHhh, ce la vie. I guess only 11 days until induction! Man I thought I was closer than that!

mine seems to be dragging too! keep getting random pains that i think oh is this is that turn into nothing. i was so convinced she was coming earliy but not so sure now!!! congrats to all the new mums!! very jealous! xxx

It has just dawned on me that tomorrow marks the start of my last whole week without a baby! This time next week I'll only have 3 days till I'm admitted for the c-section! I'd better make the most of this last full week of freedom!

I had my baby this morning, an 8lb 1oz girl called Isla! been in hospital since thursday; Will post my exciting birth story when I am allowed home probably tuesday!

wow congrats all you new mummies! I get a little teary every time I read this thread and see all the new announcments!
So today I am 3 days overdue and feel really really fed up I know you should prepare yourself to go over and I thought I had but as soon as due date hit bamm that was it - I was convinced LO would arrive.
I went to be monitored yesterday as I had a funny turn., I think it was a panic attack to be honest, my heart started racing and I went really weak and shakey so they recomend I see the out of doors doc at the hospital who then reffered me to be monitored. Everything is fine, they dont know what it was but have taken bloods and I have to go back today to get the results and be monitored again. The CTG didnt show any tightenings but the MW said if it shows any today they will try a S&S which I have booked tomorrow with my normal MW anyway. sighhhhh I just want to give my baby a cuddle now.

Minichicky and Kittenkat, I've heard that too about preparing to be overdue. I read on a pregnancy by week site last night that 25% of babies are born before the due date, and 70% are born after! Not sure how accurate the numbers are but it surprised me to hear how many go overdue.

Lots of people I know have been overdue or bang ontheir due dates....I on the other hand have not been lol. Both son and daughter were early so was prepared to have this one end up early too on past performance.....but nooooo

I have now been pregnant 3 weeks longer than I have ever been before, but she is definately closer to my LMP dates than her scan dates. Oh well just carrying on with everything as normal. But to top it all my friends cat had her kittens and we were due around the same time


Congratz to all that have had their LO's I am terribly jealous of you all *big hugs*
