***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

He's been chucked out now because I am not in established labour yet, although clearly not far off it! Ho hum. He will be called back in if I get to 5 minutes apart.

Oh and re GBS. I have now been told that antibiotics will be given when my waters are broken or my contractions are 5 minutes apart, which is a little different to the 10 minutes apart I was told before so it seems different mws think differently, not just hospitals!

Congratulations Sabriena, Duncan is gorgeous! Hope you have some good news to tell us tomorrow Mrs Glitz!

Fingers crossed for me in the morning as will be having my sweep done. It's GOT to work.

Whoop, fingers crossed you'll have a baby tomorrow then MrsGlitz!!! You must be so excited.

Still no news from my neck of the woods!

Typing from phone in hosp, difficult! had my baby BOY 9 pound 8 oz, Tiernon Halen Keane. will do birth story when home! yay!

Goodness - I'm away what seems like a few hours, and there's pages and pages to go thru again!!

GOOD LUCK MRS GLITZ!!! I can't believe they kicked your DH out! When I was induced with Freya we had a delivery suite of our own for the whole time, and were both free to come and go until labour really started. Hope your lo comes quickly now.

Congratulations to those of you who've had your babies. I'm no good at remembering names, sorry.
Thanks for posting pics Sabriena - Duncan looks Gorgeous!

And all the best to those of you still waiting. :hugs:

To be fair I wasn't induced, didn't need it. And since I only thought I was/am having BHs the mw said I am not in established labour yet. Still, these pains have picked up a bit more, the pressure down below is out of this world. Am right next to the toilet and it's just taken me 10 minutes to get there and back for a drizzle of a wee.

How are you getting on mrsglitz? Your husband will be allowed in at 8 won't he? Must be horrible coping with this on your own,I know I couldint xx

It's not been so bad. Just lonely, haven't been able to sleep. Was given codeine and paracetomal to take the edge off the contractions but they are still bad enough to not sleep through. Am glad he wasn't here really, means he got some sleep last night. He'll be another hour yet though due to bus times. Don't really want him paying the £20 taxi fare as we need that to get home and/or in case bog all happens today and he gets called in overnight. He's coming in loaded with lucozade though!

It seems all the other ladies manage to sleep! How?! I simply can't get comfortable at this stage, even without the contractions! Lol.

oh hun you're doing great! And just think soon you'll have your angel too! I am so amazed you can rest at all! well done keep it up!!:hugs::hugs::hugs:
