At what age?

Would you start sending your child to music/piano lessons?

I'd say 4 or 5, maybe 3 if he/she was really into it and really expressed interest. We started sports with the boys at 3 for Hayden, 5 for Casen and Landon

I think 6 is a good age if it's the kind of thing that they would have to practice at and not just for fun

I'd say probably at least 6 for music lessons, perhaps earlier if they really seemed intestered in it and wanted to go. It's just that it takes so much practice which, when I was a child, I know I didn't enjoy. Sports I would start earlier than music lessons as practice is alot more fun for young kids.

I would say it depends on the child really, some children are ready by 3-4 others may not be ready until near 6-7. Dan has always been into music but never done any music lessons until he was in primary 3 so 6-7 years old. I could have started him earlier but I knew he is not the type of child who likes to be pushed so I waited until he asked. x

I would say school age. My daughter is 4 and just started piano.
