Babies that were due in may 2012

My on told me there was no higher risk this time around, but just knowing that something could happen, even being as low risk as I was with Gabriel makes me nervous. Especially right now. With Gabriel, I stopped gaining weight around 32 weeks, then his growth seemed to halt around 36 weeks. We always assumed that it was because of how sick I was, and then due to an issue with my placenta.

I haven't gained any weight since 32 weeks again... despite my best efforts. So far baby's measurements remain as expected, I have an appointment this morning, do as long as she continues to grow I'll be cautiously happy, but I'm very afraid it's all happening again, that something is wrong with me that makes my babies stop growing. His growth issues may be the cause of his development delays. So, I don't know

Aimee I can't believe you are coming up to your 20 week scan already!

Meghan I totally understand your nerves about the growth and birth.

When Lola was born she wasn't breathing or responding at all, and I lost a fair bit of blood so I'd be nervous about that again.

For Lola's birthday I am making a number 2 cake with cloudbabies decorations and we are just having a little get together with family and some of her friends. I've bought her a couple books and I think we are getting her a chuggington train set.

We are officially NTNP now my cycles are long at 42 days so it's a bit frustrating as it ttc just seems to take ages!

Oh and Lola had slept through the night the last 2 nights!!!! This has never ever happened before and needless to say I'm shattered because I'm waking up constantly or not being able to sleep as I'm not used to it lol!

I've gained 2 lbs! BUT my fundal height measurement is only 35. Not concerning as its within the 2cm allowance, but based on my history, its something she wants to keep an eye on. She and I had a long discussion about my worries (something I LOVE about my OB) and she has told me that should my measurement be falling behind in 2 weeks, she will have me go up to the fetal assessment unit for an ultrasound to check on baby.

She's away next week, so Im not booked in for an appointment, but I can call and see one of the other docs if I have any concerns, so we will see what 2 weeks holds. Hopefully baby grows!

I'm amazed....Lola slept through the night again, that's 3 nights running!!! Please no one take this as me bragging I am just so excited as she has never, ever slept through the night in her own room before so I am so excited this week. She is waking up really happy too!!

We are having fab weather here at the moment, sunshine all day for the last couple weeks...I think the rain is coming back at the weekend. Hoping to do a little Easter egg hunt for Lola and her cousin Maxwell.

Are any of you ladies doing much over Easter?

Thanks Aimee I know what you mean, I thought babies are meant to wake up for feeds in the night anyway...maybe Lola was just a greedy baby.

Is anyone finding their toddlers are eating them out of house and home?! I think it must be a growth spurt as Lola seems to be constantly eating this last week!

Yup Aria eats heaps. Max does too but he snacks often.

All of my kids eat heaps. I spent $370 this week on groceries. In it I got 9 kgs of apples 5 ish kgs of pears and 6 kgs of carrots lol along with other fruit. I actually have to halve it and hide half in the bottom of the fridge else it won't last the week. Mine are Apple and carrot fiends.

I WISH Hannah would eat. Some meals she'll clear her plate but mostly, lately, she's been a very picky eater. Eating only a quarter of the meal and then wanting to run and play.

I love gender reveals :-D Meghan, sounds like your kids could be about as close as mine. May 9, April 29 and May 8 respectively lol! Emery didn't say a word at 18 months but she has been saying new ones like they're going out of style. Her pronunciation is pretty bad though. My oldest was clear from the get-go and she talked a lot starting at 1... So yeah, they all go at their own pace for sure. Dinner time, I'll yak later, hopefully sooner than the last >.<

Being induced tomorrow. Baby is not growing, and has low fluid levels. She's measured on ultrasound being less than 5th percentile. Ironically, she's likely going to arrive on Gabriel's due date.

I ask cos our tomorrow is the twins birthday
I have baked their cake. Doing a cream cheese frosting so I won't be decorating till tomorrow. Can't wait!

Thanks for the twins birthday wishes guys, they were so happy! They both went to sleep clutching their jessie and woody each. It was so cute.
