Baby Hand and Footprints

Hiya. For nans and grandads this xmas, I wanted to get them a gift of Callums hand and footprints put in a frame with a nice verse to go with it. Has anyone done one of these before, how did you go about it? Cheers xx

I bought a thing from The Works that looks like a pad of paper, but is actually sheets of canvas. I covered LO's hands and feet in finger paint from the ELC, put them onto a sheet of canvas and ended up with a masterpiece! When it was dry I framed it. I didn't write a verse with it, but used a thin permanent pen to write Lo's name and age and the date it was done. Also, our 99p shop sells canvas stretched over a frame and I brought two of these, put Lo's multi coloured hand prints on one and multi coloured footprints on the other - they're now in his nursery

Thanks girls. I went out shopping yesterday and managed to find a clay thing that you can imprint LO's hand or footprints in and then write their name and age in, I could only get 2 though and I need 4 overall so I'll see if I can pop into the works and find that canvas, thanks again xxx

we will be doing that this year charlie will be 6 months so should be sort of fun for him to he loves all the atention he can get

Nats21, make sure you try that well in advance because I know some kits are quite difficult to use!
