Baby wearing advice needed please

Hello :wave: My lo is 7 months now and getting very heavy 25lb + so i gave up on our front carrier (baby bjorn) i want to get one that i can use for a back or hip carry. We are going on holiday to wales soon and plan on doing a lot of hiking so needs to be suitable for that as well as everyday use. Also lo hasn't been in a sling for about 2 months will this be a problem getting him used to it again? Any recommendations or suggestions much appreciated.
