Loozle... can I ask where you get your tropical fruit cereal from...and how you serve it?:flower:

Hey hun, I get the cereal from Asda but most places sell it - sainsburys, tesco, boots etc it's made by Cow & Gate. I mix it with warmed cows milk and give him a pre loaded spoon and he feeds himself

Today he's had:

Breakfast: toast with some fruit pot spread on it - he LOVED this and actually ate the whole slice! He then had a plum - again loved this.
Lunch: ham sandwich, cucumber strips, yoghurt and strawberry & vanilla baby biscotti
Dinner: roast pork, roast potatoes, parsnips, sweetcorn, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, Yorkshire pudding. Then a yoghurt and some raisins.

Thanks for the info on fruit pots, I'll get some. I could do with adding a bit more fruit to her diet.

Following a visit to the dietician yesterday re Rowan's milk allergy, continuing reflux problems and slow weight gain, I've been advised to offer him a little snack mid morning and mid afternoon (after a full bf). Really helped his reflux today.

Breakfast: Porridge made with oat milk/oat cream; kiwi and pear
Snack: A dried fig
Lunch: Thick butternut squash soup soaked up by a multigrain bagel
Snack: Organix baby biscuit
Dinner: Crumpet with dairy free spread and a smear of marmite, cucumber sticks; banana and a strawberry

...and today

Breakfast: Mashed banana with cinnamon spread onto white toast, strawberries
Snack: Organix baby biscuit
Lunch: A little piece of bagel with mashed avocado, cucumber, tomato (tired and didn't eat much)
Dinner: Baked salmon, h/m potato wedges and brocolli; LOADS of strawberries (OH needed to take a photograph of us having a 'pretend' Jubilee picnic outside- don't ask! He put a big bowl of strawberries in the middle of the blanket and LO helped himself to pretty much the entire bowl...:dohh: )

Your pretend jubilee picnic sounds fab!!!

Yesterday:

Breakfast - porridge and puréed prunes (trying to give this most days as she is struggling a bit with her new thicker poos!!!)

Lunch - we were out so she had organixs carrot sticks

Dinner - at my mums she had some chicken and pepper strips. Unfortunately she kept gagging on the chicken and was sick, it's so typical when we are with others, especially parents who still can't get their head around blw.

Isn't it always the way? 99 per cent of the time Rowan eats really happily and well... The odd occasion someone who isn't familiar with blw is about, he'll get trapped wind and cry lots and fling his food around... Cue comments like 'he's frustrated because he can't be expected to feed himself that!'
