BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Mrs Hedgehog- I see you have the BLW cookbook- the drop scone recipe is from there... I just added chopped left over roasted peppers to the batter before frying. Super way of getting peppers into my toddler...she won't eat them otherwise! I've also tried adding sweetcorn but I think you could add pretty much anything...

Today...

Breakfast: Porridge fingers made with oat milk, ground almonds and a few squished blueberries, oranage segments
Snack: A dried fig
Lunch: Carrot puree and a few low sugar/ salt baked beans spread onto white 'doorstep' toast; Soya yogurt (this was a bit of a test to see how he reacts to soya- tbh I'm still not sure... )
Dinner: Pasta pieces with a tomato sauce, cucumber sticks; apple and blackcurrant fruit pot

Today LO had.....

B - porridge and grated apple
L - Eggy bread and cucumber sticks
D - Spaghetti bolognese (messy but LO loved it)
 
Today she had:

Breakfast - prune porridge

Lunch - pitta filled with lentil and sweet potato Dahl, apple slices cooked with cinnamon, hm banana muffin (blw cookbook)

Dinner - Hm pork, apple and sage burger, potato wedges, roasted red pepper and butternut squash.
 
B - weetabix
L - cheese spread sandwiches, half and apple & pear, yogurt coated raisins
D - Yellow crusted Sole Fish, Waffle, Broccoli & Carrots. Strawberry jelly mixed with Strawberry yogurt topped with chopped strawberries for dessert

lunch - readybrek with pureed mango - spoonfed himself

dinner - chicken carrots and brocolli

How did your LO deal with the chicken? The last time I gave LO chicken she tore off big chunks and then wasn't able to chew them. I was so scared she was going to choke. In the end she just kind of spat it out but I'm scared to give her chicken again now.

I pre-loaded spoons for him, mashed it in with some potatoes and he spoonfed himself the chicken. He wouldnt have managed had I not done that, but then I didnt give him the chance.....
 
Breakfast: banana porridge, toast with marmite & some apple
Lunch: leftover tuna pasta, peanut butter sandwich - first time he's had peanut butter and he seems to be enjoying it! He likes strong flavours :thumbup: after he's finished he'll have a yoghurt and a nectarine
Dinner: will be chicken fajitas with peppers, onions etc. fruit pot afterwards
 
Today:

Breakfast - prune porridge, she loves this and seems to be getting really competent with loaded spoons.

Lunch - tuna pasta and hm banana muffin

Dinner - butternut squash croquettes
 
B - toast with sugar free peach jam
L - tuna croquettes and green beans
D - veg and bean chilli and couscous
 
Tuesday (at nursery)
B - toast and pineapple
L - veg curry with rice, natural yoghurt and fruit puree
T - pilchard wraps and fruit

wed (also nursery)
B - shreddies and cows milk
L - sausage and mash, fruit
T - potato wedges with cheese and tomato, pineapple upside down cake

today (home)
B - banana porridge, few blueberries
L - (will be) scrambled egg with ham and tomato, blueberries and grapes
T - (will be) meatloaf (from BLW cookbook) new potatoes, carrots, jelly
 
Yesterday...

Breakfast: Porridge with ground almonds and apple puree, grapes (first time he's managed these :thumbup:)
Lunch: Hummous on toasted doorstop bread, cucumber sticks, orange segments
Snack: Dried apricots (I wasn't sure any of these were actually swallowed... until I saw his nappy this morning:dohh:)
Dinner: Smoked mackeral pasta (BLW cookbook); fried banana with cinnamon and oat cream

Today...

Breakfast: Weetabix with apple puree, breastmilk and oat cream; grapes
Snack: Strawberries
Lunch: Peanut butter on toasted doorstop bread, little piece of banana, dried fig
Dinner (will be): Cod fillet, fried potato slices and green beans; Spanish apple cake (BLW cookbook) and oat cream
 
Breakfast: shreddies, toast with marmite, banana
Lunch: was at ds1's school sports day/jubilee picnic so had a peanut butter roll & cucumber
Dinner: tomato, cheese & herb pasta bake, salad & garlic bread. Will have some pineapple and a yoghurt after.
 
Today...

Porridge with banana and pear

Sardines in tomato sauce sandwich, organix carrot puffs, smoothie tube

Dolmeh, carrot (grated) and coriander bulgar wheat salad, tabbouleh, small DF muffin and grated apple.

There's a LOT of salad bits everywhere :rofl:
 
B - yoghurt and grated apple

D - spinach frittata and salad
 
B - apple and sultana oatabix
L - Hot Beef & Onion Barm with a Tangerine
D - Heinz sweet & Sour Chicken (couldn't be bothered cooking) Hot Banana with chocolate ice cream and raspberries - his own banana split :D

raspberry, strawberry & sugarsnap pea
toast & a spoonful of hm tomato sauce.
 
Today:

Breakfast: Porridge with a little blackstrap molasses; banana
Snack: Dried fig
Lunch: Thick butternut squash soup soaked up with crusts of bread
Dinner: Roasted sweet potato wedges with a chickpea, tomato and corriander dip, peas (actually managed to eat some of these!)
