BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Joel had...

breakfast: mini shredded wheats soaked in milk (7 or 8), half a banana
lunch: peanut butter sandwich (about half a slice of bread's worth with smooth pb)
dinner: pasta spirals, loads of lasagne mince (contains mince, tomatoes, mushrooms, grated carrot and grated courgette, made it for a lasagne we were having and saved some mince for the boys, Adam didn't want dinner so Joel ate almost all of both portions), half a tomato, 4 slices of tinned peach, a piece of malt loaf
snack: half a rich tea biscuit, half a banana

Wow! This puts my LO food intake to shame...!

B - Weetabix and a rusk
L - Cheese and Marmite Panini, fruit salad and some of Grandmas blueberry muffin
D - Wild Pink Salmon, waffle, Broccoli, Carrots, Sweetcorn & Blackcurrent Jelly.

Breakfast: Wheaty biscuit with breastmilk; raspberries (about 8)
Lunch: 1 veggie sausage, 2 good handfuls of scrambled egg, a few low suagr/salt baked beans and a couple of wholemeal toast fingers; apple and strawberry fruit pot
Snack: Small hm banana muffin
Dinner: Quorn chilli with rice; 1 sharon fruit

Was interested in the discussion about how much they actually eat, I've tried to be fairly relaxed and not monitor intake but today I made an effort for this thread!!!

Breakfast - slice of toast with pear and mango purée - ate 1.5 fingers roughly

Lunch - half a small hm bready scroll (my Daddy Cooks recipe) with pesto, about quarter of a rice cake spread with pear and mango purée, 1 slice cucumber

Dinner - hm cottage pie (including grated veggies and tomatoes) - I would estimate 2 (adult) tablespoons eaten. Quarter of a fruit pot

B - egg free french toast, warm apple wedges and peach/apricot wot no dairy yoghurt.
L - salmon/ spinach sandwich, organix sweet corn rings, beetroot, green beans and apple/ banana fruit pouch.
T - will be tuna pasta bake with peas/ sweet corn and garlic ciabatta followed by grilled pineapple and peaches.

B - small handful scrambled egg, one triangle toast with butter (spat a lot out so not sure how much actually went down...) bit of fruit pouch
L - tuna mayo sandwich (1slice bread), gnawed on chicken drumstick (brilliant photos!) bite of quiche, 2 sticks cucumber, handful jelly and red fruits
D - half hm burger, 2 sticks cucumber (a favourite, can you tell?!), half fromage frais - huge amount of this meal came out his mouth in bath, so not sure how much he ate!

 what can I say, he loves his food...

today Joel had:

breakfast: mini shredded wheats soaked in milk (about 4-5), probably about half a nectarine (I put a plateful of fruit and cereal out for him and his brother and didn't see exactly what he got)

lunch: wholemeal toast with butter and mashed banana (shared with me, he had about half a slice)

dinner: grilled chicken (couple of small pieces, bitesize), basmati rice mixed with cream cheese (so it would stick to the spoon and he could pick it up in chunks; he had maybe a good tablespoonful), broccoli (one medium floret), peas (he loved trying to pick them up, had quite a few), blueberries (a handful, that's my hand not his)

snacks: cucumber chunks, half a rich tea, a breadstick

LO actually ate quite a lot today!

B - stewed apricots and yoghurt (refused completely)
L - tagliatelle with asparagus (ate about 2 strands of pasta in total which is a lot for her) watermelon (refused)
D - chicken and rice salad (had 2 or 3 mouthfuls of chicken and 5 or 6 mouthfuls of rice
Snack - few mouthfuls of chickpea patty, half a rice cake, peach (had great fun squashing to a pulp but didn't actually eat any.

Altogether it was a lot for her so I was quite pleased. She doesn't seem too keen on fruit or veg though. She mostly likes bread, pasta, rice etc but won't eat any fruit other than apples or any veg other than peppers and even then it's just a little. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Yesterday for my little man...

Breakfast: 1 kiwi: 7 or 8 Blueberry Wheats
Lunch: Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn (not sure how much he ate but less than he would usually as he'd just had a long bf beforehand); natural soya yogurt (6 or 7 spoonfuls)
Snack: Dried fig
Dinner: hm beanburger (about 1/2), tomato (couple of slices), oven chips (4 or 5)

Breakfast: banana porridge & a satsuma
Lunch: chicken curry & rice with pitta bread and tomato
Dinner: grilled chicken, pasta with a tomato, onion & garlic sauce and veg - carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Yoghurt and a biscotti afterwards.

Today she has had:

Breakfast - porridge with pear purée (estimate 2 adult tablespoons)

Dinner - quinoa and carrot salad (was difficult for her to eat so maybe 2 teaspoons full), half a pesto and tomato bready scroll, 2 slices avocado, quarter low salt rice cake, whole fruit pot, 1/4 pear

At dinner time she was at the table for about an hour eating everything offered, it's the first time I've given her solid food first before her milk.

Breakfast: Porridge fingers made with oat milk/ ground almonds and blackstrap molasses (1/2 total amount made I would say- so 1 1/2 tbsp of oats); raspberries (about 8)
Lunch: 1/2 a seeded bagel with dairy free spread and a smear of marmite (most of it); a whole banana and a whole orange (except the fibrous bits); 5 or 6 tsp natural soya yogurt
Snack: 1/2 hm banana muffin
Dinner: Red pepper drop scone (most of it); green beans (nibbled and sucked)

Dinner: will be shepherds pie & veg then a yoghurt and fruit.

Yesterday my little lady had:

B - prune and peach breakfast pouch (about half), superfruity shreddies soaked in bm (not tried) and a few mouthfuls of peach.
L - salmon and spinach on a rice cake (all of it), organix sweet corn rings (1), 1/2 slice cucumber, 1/2 slice pear.
T - hm haddock goujons (small piece), 1 mini waffle, suck of an oven chip (not impressed), sweet corn and peas (ate a few). Unimpressed with her dinner so had some almond butter on a corn thin then had leftover semolina with apple and blueberry puree.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but if your lo isn't impressed with their food do you offer something else? My lo is a bit funny with soft textures and because her eating has picked up in the last couple of weeks I'm trying to keep offering it but she doesn't seem too impressed and might try a little but mainly just wants to kill it

Br: cheerios with banana, crumpet with st dalfour
Sn: organix biscuit
Lu: chicken and cucumber sandwich, organix tomato wheels, bowl of strawberries, DF hm blueberry muffin
Din: lemon sole, potatoes, samphire, roasted veggies. Freedom and strawberries.

Stole: beetroot crisps, chocolate button :haha: and not a DF one!

Bit dispiriting posting here when ds eats so little - but I'll do it in case it reassures other mummies of nibblers :)

B - 3 oatibix bites (ate maybe 1?), half stick of pineapple
L - half slice bread with butter, 2 sticks cucumber, 1 stick cheddar - hard to say how much he actually swallowed though as he cried at the end and most fell out his mouth!
D - approx 1 tbsp hm fish pie (topped with sweet potato and cheese), 1 & 1/2 broccoli trees, 2-3 large tsps Greek yoghurt and fruit purée

And this is a good eating day for him...
