BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Today:

B - prune and peach breakfast pouch (1/2), blueberry dropscone (mouthful), small handful blueberrys.
L - hummus on wholemeal seeded toast (about 1/2 of a triangle), tomato (not tried), organix carrot sticks (1/2 of one), raisins (not tried), a few spoons of an apple pear and raspberry fruit pouch.
T - tomato pasta (a good couple of handfuls of this), broccoli and carrots (not tried), apple and blueberry puree.

Yesterday

B - toast and sugar free jam (aye half a finger)
L - tuna croquettes (ate half of one) baby carrot (2 mouthfuls) sucked on some green beans, gnawed at an apple for a bit
D - leftover chicken (few nibbles) roasted courgette and peppers (couple of bites)
Snack - organix carrot puff - ate the whole thing! (or at least I think she did, I was washing dishes and when I turned back to her it was all gone. She is pretty good at hiding food though so I'm still expecting to find a soggy piece somewhere!)

Today
B - porridge (3 baby spoonfuls)
L - Eggy bread (1 finger) mango (as usual squashed it up but didn't eat any)
D - Pasta and hm pesto (ate maybe 1 piece of fusili pasta)

Bit dispiriting posting here when ds eats so little - but I'll do it in case it reassures other mummies of nibblers :)

B - 3 oatibix bites (ate maybe 1?), half stick of pineapple
L - half slice bread with butter, 2 sticks cucumber, 1 stick cheddar - hard to say how much he actually swallowed though as he cried at the end and most fell out his mouth!
D - approx 1 tbsp hm fish pie (topped with sweet potato and cheese), 1 & 1/2 broccoli trees, 2-3 large tsps Greek yoghurt and fruit purée

And this is a good eating day for him...

:hugs: My LO is generally a good eater but he still struggles with his milk (due to reflux we think)... which stresses me out too. He obviously needed the food due to very slow weight gain over the first six months. He's been doing better with his weight since weaning has become established but doing blw has given me the confidence to know he's taking what he needs (no more or less).

Yesterday...

Breakfast: Porridge fingers with sugar free blueberry jam (6 fingers!); 1/2 tinned pear
Lunch: Scrambled egg with mushrooms (2 good handfuls); 2(?) fingers of wholemeal toast; most of a cherry soya yogurt
Snack: 1/2 df hm banana muffin
Dinner: Potato, spinach and pea curry with rice (maybe 3 or 4 tbsps?), chapatti (a little bit); 1/2 a small onion bharjee

...and today

Breakfast: 1 kiwi; Shreddies soaked in oat milk (3 of my handfuls)
Lunch: Fruit pot and ground almonds spread onto a slice of wholemeal toast; a pear and the rest of the fruit pot (via pre-loaded spoon!)
Dinner: Cod fillet, bubble and squeak and low sugar/salt baked beans; another kiwi with Freedom

Thanks bluehorse :) I think demand boob feeding has taught me to trust him to know what he needs and he's definitely eating more solids as time goes on.

How do you give jam with your porridge fingers?? Ds has gone off these slightly and jam sounds a bit more exciting!

I spread a little jam on just over half way through cooking... If you put it on before cooking, the jam stays hot for a while. If you put it on at the end, it's messier. I've done the same with blackstrap molasses too. I've also mixed ground almonds or a little mashed banana or a few chopped sultanas into the original mix. They are quite boring on their own I think.

Today...

Breakfast: 2 Wheaty biscuits with breastmilk; tinned grapefruit segments (about 4)
Lunch: df pesto pasta (about 7 pieces), 1/2 a cucumber stick, 1/4 tomato (seeds and a bit of flesh); most of a cherry soya yogurt
Snack: 3 Organix tomato wheels
Dinner: Vegetarian toad-in-the-hole (most of the sausage, none of the batter!), cauliflower (a nibble), spinach and brocolli (refused); banana (most of it)

Well, we've had a bit of a day of most food coming back out his mouth... *sigh*

B - 2 oatibix bites, finger of banana
L - 4 rounds of carrot, 2 broccoli florets, 1 cauliflower floret, handful mash, Half adult pot yoghurt
D - rice (ignored), beef stir fry (sucked), 1 broccoli floret, 2 sticks cucumber, 2 fingers pineapple, 1/3 custard pot

Much of lunch and dinner came out amidst screams :( dh is feeling very disheartened by this backwards step and mentioned purée - but I said we've trusted him to know what he needs before. He's also got three or more top teeth coming.... We plod on.

Joel had:

Breakfast: branflakes soaked in milk (small handful), strawberries, tinned peaches

Lunch: cream cheese and marmite sandwich (about 1/2 a slice of seeded wholemeal bread)

Dinner: bolognese mince (steak mince cooked in tomatoes and loads of veg) with wholemeal pasta twists, peas and sweetcorn (he had loads, his own plus some of his brother's leftovers)

Snacks: half a rich tea biscuit, couple of satsuma segments, 3-4 prunes

B - weetabix
L - we went to Starbucks so he had a pancake with berry compote some of my porridge and a fruit salad
D - cheesy tomato pasta. Orange Jelly mixed with Apricot yogurt and a tangerine

snacked on marmite rice cakes and 2 heinz cookies

Not very hungry today...

Breakfast: Porridge fingers made with oat milk, ground almonds and blackstrap molasses (about 1.5 fingers); 1/4 kiwi and 1/2 a pear
Snack: Dried fig
Lunch: Wholemeal toast with almond butter (a nibble or two); cucumber sticks (2 well gummed); 1/2 a banana
Dinner: Pan fried salmon (couple of mouthfuls); oven chips (2 or 3) and peas (a few); most of an apple, plum and banana fruit pot

B - banana porridge fingers (a mouthful), 1/4 slice of toast and a couple of grapes.
L - (in a cafe and far too distracted to eat just nibbled) chicken and hummus sandwich, 1 organix sweetcorn hoop, a small stolen curly fry from dh, a few grapes.
T - mackerel pasta with courgettes, peas and sweet corn followed by plain wot no dairy yoghurt with red fruit compote. (Ate a few bits of pasta, peas and sweet corn and her pudding and then threw it all up at bedtime).

Breakfast: Mashed banana and cinnamon spread onto wholemeal toast (1 slice); tinned grapefruit segments (1.5 segments)
Snack; 2 Organix tomato wheels
Lunch: Peppered salmon, cucumber, tomato, red and yellow peppers, carrot stick, ciabatta, banana, strawberry, grapes (Mainly little nibbles, apart from the fruit. We were at a restaurant and he was too distracted to eat much)
Snack: Dried fig
Dinner: Falafel (probably 1 in total), cucumber sticks (3 well gummed), 1/4 tomato (seeds only); grated apple (1/2 an apple), most of a plain 'Wot No Dairy' pot

Pud's teething badly (top 2 front) so I'm amazed she ate as much!

Yesterday:-
B - porridge
L - pasta salad with cheese and tomato, fruit puree, blueberries
T - mash, salmon, mushrooms and courgette (didn't eat much)

Today:-
B - mango baby brekkie pouch
L - potato salad with added tomato and cheese, yogurt with mango and banana
T - chicken dinner (chicken strips, new pots, carrot, peas, brocolli and cauliflower with a teaspoon of gravy) banana and custard (refused)

b: bran flakes soaked in milk, prunes

l: bits of various sandwiches (couple of bites of tuna mayo, a chili chicken wrap and salmon & dill), a few licks of his brother's ice cream, about half a cream filled choux bun (shared with me, he stuffed it in, would have had the whole thing if I'd let him), a load of blueberries

d: sausage (not much, maybe a 1/6 of a normal one), cheesy mashed potato (quite a lot), broccoli, peas and sweetcorn, 1/2 a Little Yeos yogurt (again shared, he'd have had more if he was offered), more blueberries

s: a few breadsticks

Following on from lunch out on Saturday lo's reflux has badly flared up (very upset with myself). Anyway here is what I offered yesterday but quantities eaten are barely worth mentioning.

L - pizza toast with cheezly, organix carrot puff and blueberry.
T - baked sweet potato with ratatouille extra courgettes and tomatoes followed by red fruit compote.

:hugs: I'm sure it wasn't due to your lunch out. Rowan suffers from reflux too, although it is the silent kind. He's had days recently when he's barely suffered at all... then a couple of days in a row when he's been awful.

Today Rowan had a bit more of an appetite

Breakfast: 10 or 11 Blueberry Wheats plus a couple of handfuls of Shreddies soaked in oat milk; most of a kiwi
Lunch: Sugar free raspberry jam sandwich on wholemeal bread (1/4); 1/2 a pear
Snack: 4 Organix carrot puffs
Dinner: Creamy smoked mackerel and potato bake (maybe 3 tbsp); 1/4 kiwi

Ally has munched...

Br: big bowl of porridge with banana and agave
Sn: smoothie tube
Lunch: sardine pitta, pepper strips, organix carrot puffs, strawberries
Dinner: poached chicken spring stew, herb bread, dairy free lemon and blueberry muffin (only fair she has her version of our polenta!)

Thanks bluehorse but we have had a pretty full on reaction with explosive slimy poo, gassiness and she's still quite uncomfortable now so i definitely think it was something we ate. I thought I was being really careful so I'm kicking myself x

So yesterday:
B - a little porridge with ebm, nibble of some toast, a really juicy pear peeled and given whole.
L - almond butter on rice cake, chew of some courgette, tomato, grapes and an an organic sweet corn hoop. Then had most of a mango and banana fruit pouch.
T - a few pieces of tuna pasta with garlic ciabatta. Custard made with almond milk and the rest of the fruit pouch stirred through - had a couple of spoons of this.

Breakfast: weetabix and some grapes
Lunch: was at mil's as I went back to work yesterday  had a crumpet, some cheese, tomato, breadstick, yoghurt and strawberries
Dinner: pasta & meatballs, garlic bread & cucumber sticks. Fruit pot and a biscotti
