You do pre-loaded spoons. Just put some yoghurt on the spoon for him and put the spoon on his high chair tray (I always just give the spoon straight to her as otherwise she loses everything off it when she tries to pick it up) and let him try and feed himself.

S1 - 1/2 avocado
L - cold chicken, 2x baby mum mums and Vegemite,
S2 - rice crackers with pesto

Missed dinner due to late lunch but would've been offered courgette, broccolli, cheese and the other half of the yoghurt.

Breakfast - Ugali (tried pre-loaded spoons but she preferred to stick her fingers in then suck them :haha: )
Snack: Piece of toast
Lunch: Rest of her karelian casserole and some bread
Dinner: total panic as our dinner wasnt ready and she was getting too tired so she ended up having oat porridge and tuna ewwww (is tinned tuna ok btw?)

as far as i knw, tinned tuna is ok, so long as they don't have too much tuna - there's a fairly high mercury content i think.

and hayden regularly hides food in his chair - sometimes it's accidental as he just drops it, but i have seen him actually stuff food down there, cheeky monkey! :haha:

today he had:

b - malted wheaties, a banana

l - veggie chilli and rice, a fairy cake (this was a bit naughty - we don't usually let him have sugary stuff, but we were at my mum's for lunch and everyone else was eating them, so it didn't seem fair not to let him. and it was soooo funny - i put the cake in front of him, on his tray, and he stuck his arms out to the sides - as if to say 'look, no hands!' - and bent forward to take a bite out of it. he ate most of the cake that way :haha:)

snack - grapes

tea - slice of bread and butter, some cheese, tomato, cucumber, a small piece of quiche and a yogurt

b: rice kripsies and a few halved grapes
s: homemade banana muffin
l: ham sandwich, cucumber sticks, raisins
d: meatballs and spaghetti from the BLW recipe book - OH MY GOD it was fucking delicious! And blueberries after.
