Only just noticed this thread, I love Eurovision, I watched the 1st Semi Final last night, I wonder why we arent allowed to vote on Thursdays Semi aswell?
Denmarks Entry looks quite good, written by Ronan Keating, I really enjoyed Icelands entry last night, I'm not really sure about the UK's entry, I think shes got a bit of a Shouty Voice...but hey we never win wether we are good or not anyway! lol x

Hi bigbloomerz (love the name :rofl:) - do you want to pick a team?

I think the four countries who are guaranteed a place in the finals each get to vote in one semi. I think it was just done by a draw. The voting gets more complicated every year.

You can pick whichever country you want from the list, that's not in red. If you pick one that gets knocked out of the next semi-final you can choose another one :)

Apart from Bucks Fizz obviously, this is my other favourite UK entry, they came about 7th I think. 1981. Bardo - they were a couple in real life, I remember me and my sister copying the routine. :rofl:

I know I am showing my age here, this was my first memory of Eurovision. 1976 - we won it! Brotherhood of Man. I really liked it back then, when we stood a remote chance of winning it. :rofl:

My OH pretends to not like it, but he always gets into it. He wants us to use the Singalong Option with the lyrics on the tv, so we are going to do that. :rofl:

My best mates are down from Norwich that night, so we will make it a mini Eurovision party. :happydance:

My 2 yr-old's verdict on Samantha Janus - "that's rubbish". :rofl: She is SO wooden! Awful!
 
Michael Ball - definitely supercheese but not bad! I do like his dimple too :blush: I like the way he points in the air at the tingly bits! :rofl: Marvellous! :D

Will watch that one next phex! Here's a link to the UK's first 50 years of Eurovision! Don't worry, there's just a few seconds from each song! (phew!) See how we always used to do so well then in 2003 everything went pear-shaped!
