breast feeding and section

Sorry I know this thread is a few days old...but with my first I had a c section after 27 hours of labor. My milk came in on day 2. LO nursed almost constantly and only lost 6 oz. The first week she gained a whole pound!

I breastfed after section, 10lb baby lost 3oz in total, fed for 8 n 1/2 months he self weaned, milk came in day 3 I think but I had extremely high milk flow and had to express after each feed, I could get 5-7 oz each breast by 2 weeks pp
