I'm getting so fed up of them. What brand do you all buy? I've so far tried Johnnson's and ASDA's own make. Of the two, I prefer ASDA's own make, but neither seem to stand up to the pace of my leaky boobs. I'll feed Harry on one boob, and in the meantime the other boob has completely saturated the breast pad - they only ever seem to last 1 feed at a time and it's driving me mad. I'm getting through about 16 pads a day! Are any of you having this problem or do you have any suggestions??

Ahh.. I just bought a big box of Johnsons cause I was told they're one of the best...
Now I'm worried.

Im use tommie tippie and boots ultra slim. I have the same problem I bought some avent washable ones but they were horrible

Why don't any of them have some sort of plastic backing to them?! Everything seeps straight through to my bra within a milli-second. Oh well... suppose i'll just have to keep changing them every minute. I've thought of putting 2 in at a time, but that just makes boobs a strange shape!

Tomme Tippee all the way:happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance:

I've tried em all but these are by far the best...for me anyway:happydance:

I have also tried them all and Tommee Tippee are the only ones which are any good and are worth the extra money. Yoy may also want to invest in these

They're great for collecting milk from the other boob while you feed. It's up to you if you then throw the milk away or keep it in a breastmilk bag in the fridge or freezer so you can use it for a bottle xx

Boots ultra slim disposable are the best in my opinion. They are around £3 for a largeish pack. They are gel filled and have a plastic backing and I have always had really leaky boobs and so far they have NEVER soaked through. I always had leakage with Asda ones and Johnson's ones.

Oh and Lansinoh do good ones too, similar to Boots.

I would say Tommee Tippee! Extra slim are good, as are closer to nature ( I think that is what they are called?!?!) xx

If you're at home stick a muslin down your top - miles better than a pad. I lived like that for months lol. Also if you feel the tell tale tingle, try applying pressure to your breast over the nipple, it can really stop the leaking in it's tracks.

I totally agree, I love them too.

However, since I'm not leaking as much anymore, I switched over to the Mothercare reusable ones about 4/5 months ago. They are ok, very bulky and take some getting used to though. If I ever have a newborn again I will be back to the Tommee Tippee again!

tommee tippie one are very similar to the boots ultra slim. both by far the best

i use some i got off a website when they were on offer real cheap x they are breastfeeding heaven ones and they are fab x x

I think I tried almost every brand out there!

My favourite was the Lansinoh ones, they are thin but absorbed far more than any of the others and kept the moisture away from my skin. I found that all the other brands got so full that they would just leak milk all over me, yuck! They are more expensive but I thought they were definately worth it.

The Lasinoh ones are exactly the same as Tommee Tippee ones but TT ones are cheaper and easier to find:happydance:

Ahhhhhhhh....if they're cheaper then I may get them next time....thanks xxxx

I found that in the first few weeks I was getting through boxes of breastpads (I had them upstairs, downstairs, in the car, in my handbag etc) but now 9 weeks on we're in a better routine i.e 7am, 11am, 2.30pm, 6pm, 11pm so my boobs behave until those times so I only use maybe four a day now (pads that is, not boxes!!). I found the more expensive brands the best.

I use avent ones they are abit bulky but really soft my boobs are so sensitive when im breastfeeding. What i do now is when im having a let down i put a cheap breast pad in or a muslin down there and then i put the avent one back in afterwards saves wasting them so quickly. Putting pressure on your nipple really helps as well.

Sounds crazy but just for during a feed use bounty kitchenroll for the other boob! - It saves a hell of a lot of clothes and bra washing!!!
