Bump, Flushes, Dimples and Beyond [closed]

will be willing it to be reserved just for you!

Lydia how goes life with two little ladies? Was E pleased with the result? He is going to have his hands full in a few years fighting off the suitors!

:hi: Lia how are you all getting on? Is D convinced having a little brother is the way to go yet? How was the 3 week spurt?

Youre making me wish I could have another one....you, Ann, Lydia and all the others with a newborn or one imminent <3

Love to all mummies, toddlers, babies and big brothers and sisters!

er no! Hubby had the snip after Pickle as we arent planning a third :)

Cant chat, just hopping on one-handed! Ann - I was told that I could be allowed to move within the limits of the monitor, i.e. stood up/on birthing ball/hunched over bed/all fours etc. My midwife thought this was perfectly reasonable and doable, but obviously requires the monitors to keep track of rate, so you couldn't 'move' too muck iykwim? I had a HUGE guilt attached to choosing a CS, but it was actually a really lovely experience, with a ton of skin to skin/feeding etc, it was very calm in there too, I found it very therapeutic after J's one, so even if you do end up with one, it can be quite different. Now I've had my back/hip fixed by osteo I'm also realising how much quicker I'm recovering than last time too. xxx

Lydia if your ticker is anything to go by you are going through it again VERY soon

Love that you had such a positive CS, have read a few ladies experiences recently about the "elective" CS more for medical preference than anything else and they are all so open and all have had good skin to skin and time to bond, sounds a more likable procedure to some of the induction where it may or may not happen to plan.

Ann decided overnight whilst listening to hubby snore that you should have a tv labour...you have a little backache, go to the shops, snap at the lady in the shop on the till but smile as you leave, go home sit down and as you get up your waters go, you cling to hubbys hand and pant and glow for say 10 minutes (tv so its probs an hour or two in reality) then they say ok PUSH...three pushes later and you have a gorgeous clean baby in your arms (tv so you will have a gorgeous uncleaned up boy handed to you first then he can have a clean and rub down after a quick snuggle) Sound good?

How MW is helpful today :hugs:

How goes V Mrs M?

Ooh good plan - I like the sound of that!

Thanks Lydia. Hope you are doing well with your precious new bundle. xx

p.s Pip probably long too late but I saw those boots in Next yesterday and they were all different. VERY different just like your pic. Did you send them back??

I figured there was quite a high chance of receiving another dissimilar pair, so I placed another order for 2 pairs - and sure enough both pairs were the same. :dohh: The good news was that out of 6 wellies I was able to make 2 pairs that were quite similar and one completely off pair. We now have a matching pair and will be returning the other two pairs, so someone else will be lucky and get another matching pair.

Good thinking Pip. By the way, how are you finding Facebook?

So we think we may have found a name that both D and I can agree on. You will be the only people to know so no mentioning it on Fb. Currently the favourite is Tristan. Not sure about a middle name yet. For a while the favourite was George! I thought you would like that Moggy ;) x

George is an excellent name :smug: however Tristan is equally excellent! FB silence noted *nods*

Any news from the nice MW?

No annoyingly. She only works Tuesdays and Wednesdays so I won't hear until next week now if I'm lucky. I left her a message on Tuesday as well to ask about the whooping cough jab and not heard back. She's super busy though.

Oooh, Tristan is lovely!! (as is George!!), sounds like you've at least got that a bit sorted! I hope you hear back from the mw soon, its so frustrating living in limbo isn't it?

Moggy - E is actually really pleased with two little girls, plus it'll save some money not having to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes for a boy!!!

Got me some pretty new boots today as a baby-blues cheer-me-up (having that horrible hormonal stage together with being in pain/feeling sorry for myself for still looking pregnant etc.

Soooooooooooooo jealous of you all *sigh*.

Not sure i'll ever get used to the feeling of knowing I won't have another. :(

In other news: K is potty training! He's been using the toilet 90% of the time at home but nowhere else. He will often wee during naked time (which is most of the time tbh) though a little bit, but if I ask him to go to the toilet he will.

From tomorrow they are training him at nursery- i.e taking him to the toilet every 30 mins- and he'll be in pants at home from here onwards. He's currently in a gorgeous little Fireman Sam pair.... eeek! SO proud of him.

Feels a bit rubbish constantly nagging him to wee though!

Yas is there no chance of another? :hugs:

Lydia, I remember that only too well. Hope the boots have helped and if the photos are anything to go by you are looking radiant. X

Boots pics when you get a mo please :D

Anyone watching Hotel GB?

Moggy I can't reply to your message but I haven't been anything other than the worst birthday secret santa EVER. Js pressie is in front of me on my desk. SO SORRY. Hate myself!!! Will send asap!!!!!!

No more babies- slight problem of lack of sperm for starters... :p
xx

No worries Yas just didnt want it to be lost....get some donor :spermy:

Here's my current bump (not putting it on FB!). This is 33 weeks with Harry vs 34 weeks with current bump.
